Firstly I don't get all this business about the pitch, looked not too bad, all things considered, certainly didn't stop some decent football being played tonight. Massive credit too all those who have worked on it to make it the best it can be at the moment. Agree 100% - It's not a bowling green but it still allows for good football. Guess we have to live with it until the new stadium is agreed. Great result tonight which has put us back in the hunt for a play-off place. I'd be happy with 5th place and 2 play-off games with CTFC - I didn't think they were anything special and we've taken 4 points out of six from them.

I guess when we win against the league leaders there's not much else to moan about apart from the state of the pitch!

Completely agree taylov, I didn't think we played that bad at all, the defence looked a lot better, nice to see Dan back after his injury. My man of the match would have been Turley. If people looked at the table properly we are in a very good position for 5th place, games in hand - form looking a lot better. I just wish we wouldn't criticise our players like some are doing. We have had our bad spell now let's all think positive for a change. BELIEVE........

The second lot of away fans to crow about being top of the league and they were both beaten by us. Strange sort of game, some of the action in the first half suggested we were really hanging on to the slender lead, as would be normal in the last 10 mins of a game. But our second half performance was a lot better. I thought we were crying out for a midfielder who could slow the game down last night, the number of times we just gave the ball away was so frustrating. Plus, as already mentioned high crosses for Beano & Tubbsy just do not work. Having said that, we defended so well last night with my MOTM being Turley. A very hard fought and well deserved 3pts after the Silverlake mid season break.

A battling performance I think, and at least an end to the awful run. Hopefully we can push on now. There is still time to make up lost ground.
Yes, we were lucky to take the 3 points, and how we were ahead at half time I don't know! But Ross's save was top draw, highlight of a great 2nd half performance from the team.
One other thing - official attendance was 1,982. Were they all in the bar for the match? It seemed a lot less crowded than usual, as I would have expected for a midweek game, especially with you know who down the road being live on TV at the same time.

Not just the pitch - would you believe it, some blighter was parked in my spot! And me! The parking has been working like a dream recently, but the powers to be seemed to think it would be a good idea to put a steward on his first day, in charge of the car park. (I'm waiting for the howls of derision.)

A lucky goal.
Outplayed but fought like tigers in the first half.
Much more even contest in the second half.
Scraped a 1-0 win.
JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED

A goal yes ! Three points ! We didn't score, but points count. Where was greener? Second half better than first, a fast game could have done with someone trying to slow it down a bit in mid field.

But they're not bitter... I also see they report on Midsons shot, but apparently he was an unused sub...

Strevs was of course up with the commentators but we also sat near Steve King, currently looking for a managerial opportunity......
