Braintree have got three tough games in the next 8 days including two long Tuesday trips, Dover have got some serious travelling to do in the same period with 3 long away days. Given current form I'm thinking 80 points might be a stretch for all of the teams below Grimsby, which brings Tranmere back into it and their last two games are us and Grimsby! Going to be an exciting run in from here COYS

'5th would do nicely, thank you.'
Means we'd probably get FGR in the playoff semis. I'd take that.
We still have every chance.

Time for a refresher The way I see it at the moment is if Tranmere do not beat us then they take a maximum of 5pts from their remaining three games, so that takes them to 77, 79 if they beat us. Braintree take a maximum of 5 pts from their remaining 4 so that is them to 74 pts Wrexham take a maximum of 10 pts from their remaining 4 so that is them to 76 pts Assuming we come off with worse goal difference then we need to get to 78pts and avoid defeat to Tranmere. 1pt v Tranmere and any 3 other wins will do it. A defeat to Tranmere means we need to win all 4, including tonight, and a win v Tranmere would see us just needing 2 further wins and 1 draw. Of course we should expect to win our home game tonight and any points is a positive, but its not key, Tranmere game is key. What do I actually think we will get, 8 pts, falling short by 1pt. Dover to take 3rd as well I also see Guiseley staying up by 1pt so that Braintree debacle will be very expensive at both ends of the table.

Braintree have hard games, all away, coming up. I expect Barrow & Altricham to park the bus saturday & we'll get two points. After that God only knows...

I don't think Barrow will park the bus tonight, why would they do that? They are safe and cannot make the play offs, so have nothing to win or lose on this game, or any of their pending games They are also coming here in excellent form, so i've no doubt they will try and win the game. Despite our excellent/recent defensive record, i think we will concede tonight, but i'm hoping we only concede one, as that gives us a chance of picking up a point. If we score 2, we should win the game, but 2 goals for us doesn't happen that often these days, so it will be interesting to see how we react to going 0-1 down..... Let's at least try keeping 11 men on the pitch and see how we end up.... Although SS has said that it really all hinges on the Tranmere game, tonight is a very big game for us, make no mistake about that.

It's all in our hands. Win all 4 remaining games and we will be in the play-offs, and on the form we showed at times tonight we can do it.

Form at times says it all. You need to be on form not in and out. I'm happy with the win. However, with the 2 spurned chances one by Beano in the first half and Yemi's hash up late on but for Turley's block on the line and Flitney's great follow up save we could have only ended up with a point. We need to put games to bed and not have to hang on in the last 20 as you won't keep getting away with it. Saturday will be another big ask and Altrincham won't play as open as Barrow did tonight. More fingernails to chew this weekend!

Draw is not much use for Altrincham on Saturday, they really need to win. Could be a more open game like tonight?

Quite simply, it will all depend on the Tranmere result on the 23rd.

We HAVE to win on Saturday. Remember that we are effectively another point in arrears of Tranmere and Braintree because of of our poor goal difference.

I don't think Barrow will park the bus tonight, why would they do that? You were right, they didn't. It was a brilliant game last night. All Eastleigh can do now is win one & not lose anymore & I reckon they'll do it.

Lets just beat Altrincham, the rest can take care of itself.
