Great interview, refreshing to hear him speak with convincing honesty. Well done Stewart.

Sad to see Jai go but as many of you pointed out not been on top form. He's got so much natural ability just needs the right players around him. This could be a good move for him to get his confidence back and playing to his best. Good luck Jai.

I'm hoping Ryan Clarke will be back for next game Me to he was outstanding when he came in for Ross, although I didn't agree with it at the time. stack is a very good shot stopper but but doesn't command his box like Ryan. maybe someone can give me the stats on goles conceded when Ryan was in goal, I seam to rember it being good.

MA praised the big fella when he spoke about him on joining the club, was happy to have the big man there he said. Would guess there has been an incident and the line was crossed, you don't bomb out a player costing £60k after a couple of months by mutual consent for no other reason do you? I worry where this team is going, it looks an absolute mess. With his health issues it would not surprise me to see him leave come the end of the season because right now this is a massively stressful rebuilding job and if he did resign, another manager means yet another clear out. That's an interesting point you make, because I did pick up in interview with MA saying he wasn't enjoying himself. I hope this is not the case as I think he is the man to take the club fowerd

Having been very disappointed with the Woking result I thought I wouid try and find a positive and that is this young lad. It was great to see him attack the ball and players with pace, look very comfortable running at players with good balance witch will always be unsettling for defenders.
He could be an ideal replacement for Luke?

Very negative coment get behind your team, and I think it will be a big gate because its a free game, so get all your mates down and support the spitfires.⚽️
Sorry i think we will have secured our play off place by the start of March and push on to the title clinching it on the final day of the season. There will be 5000 there on a cold January night, Tuesday and most will come back for Woking. The Throw-in Kid will also get player of the season as he realises throwing to their keeper is a daft idea and he completes 3 assists a game for our last 17 games. Is that better? 😀😀😀
Thats more like it. Hope to see you all Tuesday, get the thermals on 👍

Other than maintaining a comfortable mid table position i dont think any games are must win. We are not going to the play offs there are at least 8 teams better than us probably more given our league position. Having said that it would be nice to win at home again. Will be interesting to see how many come on Tuesday don't think it will be a big turnout. What do people think of The Throw-in Kid didnt sound very effective? Very negative coment get behind your team, and I think it will be a big gate because its a free game, so get all your mates down and support the spitfires.⚽️

I don't think we saw the best of him. A creative player that would always find a pass. I thought his best spell was when Dawson was in the team. Good luck Jack.

Hardly surprising after some of the comments on here. Well congratulations, you have achieved what you wanted. Personally I think it is a big mistake, but I should imagine RM would want to go as quickly as possible. I know I would. I was shot down a while ago for mentioning that we don't want to be a Newcastle. I sometimes wonder who is running this club. Are the comments on here truly representative of the general feeling among supporters, or is just the constant digging on this forum from one or two people. It has been relentless, and there has in my view been a catalyst in chief in this regard. Well I hope they are satisfied. I would love SD to say to one or two people who appear to have all the answers, right you manage the team. However after two or three defeats under your leadership you are on your way. Maybe our next Manager needs to have these people as special advisors on the touchline, then if results don't go our way they can also be blamed. Is it SD running this club, or a few people on this forum? After reading some of the comments and sniping on here no wonder he's gone. Well some people think they have all the answers, so what now? Frying pan in to fire springs to mind. I couldn't have put it better myself igs, I said only two weeks ago that negative posts like Ronnie out are not helpful, you have to give people time. good luck Ronnie.

I don't see anything negative here. I absolutely knew straight off the bat when I read Satty's 1st post that it was simply designed to provoke debate; not to attack any individuals, not to call for the manager's head, or any other tactic, but simply to act as a "stock take" as it were - and 15 or so league games into to RM's reign is a reasonable time to solicit other fans assessments. Personally, I'm against any manager being dismissed before a minimum of 3 seasons, unless it's for some kind of gross misconduct. As far as I'm concerned, the "best manager in the National League" is the one who IS the manager at Eastleigh FC....and the best players are the 11 out on the pitch. Sure, we all have OUR own opinions of who we think OUR best 11 are, and the best formations, etc, and that's what makes a football a great sport and a football forum a great medium. If I had my way, all Eastleigh players (and manager) would be born and bred in Eastleigh, but there isn't a single team in the land with 11 home-grown players representing their clubs - such is modern football. The one thing about the National League that is a fact, and not opinion, is that it is the hardest division from which to get promotion. There is only ONE guaranteed promotion spot. Whatever the manager's credentials/ability, and the players at his disposal, there is no god-given right to finish top of this division - any and all teams will drop points against so-called "lower" opposition. Furthermore, our record so far against the so-called "better" teams in this division stands up to any scrutiny pretty well. We're 20 games in and well within touching distance of a promotion opportunity. One thing I'm absolutely convinced about is that everyone currently from the Board down are doing their utmost to ensure this is realised....and not just for themselves, for the fans as well.

This is not helpful, let him get on with his job and give the bloke a chance. I can't stand negative posts like this. Get behind your team and enjoy the football.

Being serious for a minute, there were a few fans mention at the start of the season that they didn't feel quite as involved in our football club and relished being involved with helping out around the ground. Tomorrow morning is obviously an ideal opportunity for this & I'm sure the club will be extremely grateful for any help given, hopefully a reasonable number will turn up. It's a very good point well put. I'm all for the positive.👍

Don't you think the players will be getting ready for one of the clubs biggest games? And I don't think it unreasonable to ask for help when you consider the free travel and games that the club has given us.
