We should take the money and sell him as Hill doesn’t seem to like him. Don’t see why he doesn’t come on during the second half in a game like Dagenham as we had nothing to lose after there third goal.

JJ scored again today and also Joe Tomlinson in the same game for MK Dons. We have the basis of a good team but would be better with these two.

Liked the look of Clampin up front when he came on but still can’t understand why Oscar is left out. Thought Jayden Harris had a good game and he was my MOTM. We didn’t look the same when he came off. What was the attendance?

As stated in my earlier post a number of fans are under 18 and it is oft(but not always) them who make trouble. Stewards are there to assist the driver in making sure those who travel have booked and paid and checks them on/off coaches at the start/end and in between. Other duties may arise depending on behaviour but they are volunteers unlike those in the ground where stewards also mix will adults and youngsters.

On the subject of The Spitfires Supporters Club you will need to ask Kev Bennett (Chairman) about money/membership etc. He doesn’t post on here but he’s the admin on TSSC Facebook page. I believe that the club doesn’t always want to work with TSSC so they are unable to work towards their Mission Statement without the clubs support. I believe there was a difference of opinion concerning the coach stewards.

Next Sunday it’s against Winchester Flyers at Oasis Mayfield where all home games are being played. Eastleigh management don’t appear to be interested in our ladies playing at the Silverlake although they’re happy for Southampton FC Women to play there in November and January in the League Cup.

I agree the club relys on the TSSC too much for away travel. They were going to arrange travel this season but the club decided to do it. The TSSC a couldn’t afford to subsidise them as Stewart is. It will be interesting to see what happens on the Fylde coach(if it runs).

I agree that the club advertises away games too late and I haven’t heard any announcements during home games. Your right every fan is different and on the coach it’s only youngsters that are the problem. At the ground and after a few drinks some supporters young and old cause problems home and away. Alcohol is banned on the coach but is obviously consumed elsewhere. I’m sure some people can afford away travel but their priorities are elsewhere which is totally understandable.

Sorry hantslondoner I mistook your mention of the away coach to Yeovil as meaning you were using it. Apologies for that. Someone created a new thread using my posts. It definitely wasn’t me.

Mark, I’m not wanting them to stop going to Stoneham games( I’ve been too few in my time. My only point is that one person was happy to go on your coach to Yeovil whereas they weren’t happy to support their own team away to Dorking which is a similar distance. The reason they didn’t go to Dorking was it would have taken too much of their day. I believe my thinking is not unreasonable.

Just the 8-1 win this time See you're looking into running a coach for the Yeovil trip (Eastleigh are at AFC Fylde) I hope you’re not thinking of going by coach to Yeovil as the distance to Dorking Wanderers FC is 2 miles shorter than Yeovil Town FC and doesn’t take so long by road.

It won’t be Neal Ardley who has gone to York

Fair enough but travel by car/train anywhere north of Solihull is expensive and lonely. Hopefully the trouble makers will be sent packing and enjoying travel with fellow spitfires will be the norm.
