Big one today, 3 points would us put us close to the POs. Altrincham have had a great season so far, they have not lost in over 2 months!

Decent performance overall today. Felt we dominated enough to put the game to bed earlier on, but credit for coming back at the end, and Quigley & McCallum combined well for both goals. Main concern now is whether Maguire will be fit for Reading.

Massive issue no one is talking about, RH is ruining the club, 6 home wins from 7. Got to go.

Fair enough Callum. As someone who came on here and bemoaned the appointment of RH I am very happy to be proven wrong. That’s not to say I think RH is the answer long term but long may the improvements continue.

Fair play, I was neither Hill In or Out but was massively disappointed by the lack of respect shown to him, the man who got us to this level.

Good win against a good side. Started well but thought altrincham were well on too for the middle third of the game, thought they would go on to win it after making it 1-1.

How about a mention for the Quigley critics, too? Another energetic performance today, a good goal and great assist (showing some speed) to set up the winner. A I keep saying, a good front three.
RH got them well-organised again, especially having to reset after Maguire's injury as well. Today I also thought his subs were spot on and enabled us to go for the win rather than digging in, which we may have done earlier in the season (and last season).
Good hard-working victory, the like of which I haven't seen for a while, against a team in form. They will be gutted not to get a point given the possession they had, but we held firm.
I was particularly impressed with Atangana today, he provided (with Taylor) the protection for the back five that we've been missing a lot this season. MOM Langston was also very solid in defence.
Also concerned about Maguire's injury. He is still the main creative force of the team and enables our front two to shine.

I also did not think hill was the answer and was disappointed when he was appointed but I don’t think I’ve got any arguments about how the team is playing at the moment. It’s certainly a damn site better than the first 5 under bradbury so if this is the answer fair enough! But I did worry about the injury to Maguire, I thought first 40 Mins when he was on we controlled it but struggled a little when he went off. Bit lucky in the end to come away with the 3 points. Felt altrincham edged the second half for sure.

Good game that. I thought we would lose when Altrincham piled on the pressure but fair play to them they stood their ground and went on to win and scored a great winner. P.S. l rate Quigley.

Great win yesterday against a good side. Richard Hill has got his team putting a smile on the fans faces again. No mean feat after the dog****e we enduried with the football genius. From my position in The East stand. What was also pleasing was to see more youngsters getting back in the south stand. Hardley any their earlier in the season. Those that were, wern't watching the game, just abusing away fans. Yesterday and a few games prior. They never shut up, watching the game and supporting the team. Long may it continue. Onto Boring Wood.3 points from that would be nice

I also rate Quigley, l also liked our right back,Hodson l think. blended well with Enzio especially holding the ball at their corner flag, winning throw ins and corners, quality running the clock down. I am very happy with the way we are playing and l thought Atangana had a great game ,Taylor as well. All in all very pleased with the result .well done RH ,thought their number 10 was like a young Denis Wise, wouldn't mind him in the future

I also rate Quigley, I thought it was a good solid performance against a good team, and the defence stood firm. Well done to RH good substitutions, what was McGuire's injury. I also liked our right back, Hodson l think, who linked up well with Enzio and won numerous throw ins and corners to wind the clock down. Atangana had a great game and appeared to have been disregarded in the earlier part of the season, and last season also, maybe that was just Bradbury. Taylor also had a good game, great shot just tipped over the bar,and it was going in. Fair play to their number 10 who reminded me of a young Denis Wise, l would be happy if we landed him in the future.

thought their number 10 was like a young Denis Wise, wouldn't mind him in the future Conn-Clarke? Apparently Peterborough are looking at him. Very impressive yesterday, although could possibly improve end product. I thought Atangana struggled a bit earlier in the season as the man to plug the gap in midfield in front of a back four (Nwabokei was even worse, but TBF the formation gave either of them them too much to do) but now RH is playing a back five he looks much more comfortable and can express himself more. He's not just a ball-winner, he's got a bit more than that. Thought Rutherford struggled a bit yesterday, IMO played a bit too far forward and got caught out a bit. Also left back is not his best position, although he won't take the right back place from Bergwijn (RH likes him a lot). Hopefully he'll grow into the role, because we know what he can do.
