Mark Moseley is new manager of Gosport Borough. Good catch.

I read he was the new DoF, not manager?

Yes, I also read the same Paul. The club's announcements might be open to interpretation though. They have announced Mark Molesley as their new DoF but also emphasised that he will have full responsibility for the first team. gosportboroughfc.com/news/mark-molesley-appointed-gosport-borough-director-of-football-with-immediate-effect-2746068.html?fbclid=IwAR3AYstw3T44HKTbm0Yz_pIrUekSO-Df4Rd1T-0Ue0YvUel38G_ShVnnruwThey have also confirmed on their Facebook page that MM will take charge of the first team for the 12.30 pm home game against Tiverton this Saturday. I have shared that to our Spitfires Supporters Facebook Group btw. It's not mentioned where that leaves Ben Kneller, who was Assistant Coach and who seemed to be taking over the first team reins after Shaun Gale went three weeks ago. I suspect he might, at best, revert to what he was doing before. I think Mark Moleseley should be a good appointment for Gosport. It will be interesting to see how his career develops from there if he manages to get their ship back on an even keel and even winning a few games. Is anyone else wondering if we might sometime in future see him in the home dugout at the Silverlake?

Gosport Borough update - Caretaker manager Ben Kneller and coach Jake Wigley "have left the club" according to the latest announcement today. That leaves the Gosport situation clearer, which is that they now definitely have just a DoF and no manager, for the time being anyway. Apologies for posting something that might not seem relevant to the main theme of this thread, but you never know.

Maybe they are waiting for Bradbury to be sacked and will then appoint him as their manager?...

Well the Eastleigh connection is already there with Danny Hollands still turning out in midfield. I'm sure he could do a job there.
I saw him play last Wed at Privett v Locks Heath, still got some class. Ben Kneller was shouting from the bench.
Maybe Brett Pitman, doing so well at AFC Portchester, will get involved too?

Ahead of Chris Wilder? LOL. Mind you, they did mention Neil Warnock.
Maybe I was a little unambitious in talking about a Bradbury/Pitman dream ticket at Privett Park :-)
They must have seen that 7.12 second goal on Sunday.
As I've said before, Mr.B has his faults, but I think he's done OK here, so I'm not surprised he gets a mention. I'll be surprised if he gets it, though, despite the local connections.

Just wondering if the Fratton fraternity will think up the nickname Jose for him - I mean if he gets to win a match or two.

Perhaps he'll be on the list for the new manager of Saints? :-)
