Gotta say the Southend forum is a tad funny this morning. Some knob wants VAR, Others moaning about the ref coming from the New Forest. Oh and a few mentioning hilly having a go at their media guy. Dan Mays is wetting his pants on twitter about being told to leave the hanger. No away fans was the order. So you had to go nipper end off. Doubley so if you were silly enough to have colours on. Southend need to stop grumbling about this and that and worry about there manager. Not having a plan B.
Our you kids need to watch the game a bit more. Rather than baiting the away fans. I'v seen it at other grounds and it aint clever. We got some good lads in that lot. Sort the Mackoy stand all the way along. Same as the Southend side yesterday. The problem will be solved.
Now here's the big shock. praise the manager for changing ours after half hour. He has a plan B. Also for keeping the young lad on. Could quiet easly have taken him off. Young Rutherford must be a very proud lad this morning. Also we have been known as a soft touch. We are to nice. Well yesterday was great to see us not being nice. Giving them as good as we got. They didn't like it. More of the same please. If that means clubs dont like us. I for one don't give a **** about any other club than my own. I for 1 bloody loved yesterday Spot on analysis L&P, the manager has learned from the Dagenham game and changed it when it was obvious Southend had control of the game. As for the argy bargy, one EFC youngster was hit by some Sarfend yoofs at he end of the game at the Hanger end and they were trying to look hard but obviously once they saw a couple of adults there they just resorted to abuse. There were 2 arrests by Essex Police (by being there showed they were expecting trouble) by the Lakeside of Sarfend fans who 1 I think was responsible for the punch. No excuse for Southend fans chucking bottles on the pitch whether or not EFC players celebrated - you're a Kok if you do that - end of! Good win and hopefully we can build on that on Monday.

The result of this game is done and dusted, you guys scored more than us and therefore deserved to win. The point of this post though is to comment on the actions of some of your players in front of the away stand behind the goal at the end of the match. The majority of the away supporters in the stand were either very mature or were families and the actions and gestures of 5/6 of your players amounted to incitement and was unprofessional. I have to say that I have never seen my fellow supporters so angry at those actions. I'm not, for a moment, going to say that we don't have supporters who give our club a bad reputation, we do, but so do most other teams in this League. Anyway, I feel better for making my point and I wish you well for the rest of the season apart from the return game at Roots Hall.

This is where expectations should be looked at rootshallbloke a non footballer in society would almost be expected to react to any provocation. Its almost like winding someone up at school and then complaining to the dinner lady they hit you. From what I saw the Southend fans were angling for any reaction and got the reaction they warrented and dare I say they wanted

This is where expectations should be looked at rootshallbloke a non footballer in society would almost be expected to react to any provocation. Its almost like winding someone up at school and then complaining to the dinner lady they hit you. From what I saw the Southend fans were angling for any reaction and got the reaction they warrented and dare I say they wanted An interesting analogy, and had you been referring to some our supporters in the standing area on the side of the pitch then I may have had some sympathy for the comment. But my post concerned the players antics to the stand we were in and there was no warranted reaction there. So we will agree to disagree. Like I say, I felt the need to offer feedback, I've done that and it's over and done with now and my view of your players action hasn't changed.
