Actually I was referring to case when a throw in should have been awarded. The ball did not go out by much, but as it happened near the side of the pitch I was standing I could see the ball did go out. On another occasion I noted that Eastleigh started an attack as a result of taking a goal kick when the ball was not stationary.
I find it generally easier to comment on things like that described in the last paragraph as where there is offside and there is contact the referee may on occasions see things that I do not see.
Actually I do think that we still very much had a chance after the sending off. Five minutes of added time was played and if we had scored from the resulting free kick which Maidenhead had one fewer man to defend or even two or three minutes into the additional period it would give us a great feeling of momentum against a team with 10 men and anything could have happened in the final two minutes.
