After the lord mayors show? Didn't turn up at all first half & gave it go second half but the damage was already done.
Hopefully we can do better on Saturday and put tonight behind us.

The back line tonight was: LB: Seaman CBS: Atkinson & Hollands RB: Boyce
This was before their first goal when we then shifted to 3 CBS and wing backs.
Personally I thought why doesn’t Holland’s play LB, Boyce and Atkinson in the middle with Seaman in his preferred position. Or play Miley at LB and Hollands in the middle.
We really lacked a bite in the centre of the pitch today. That’s where they won most of the battles and the game last night. Also, must say, Barnett up top did absolutely nothing all game! Not once did he look like he wanted to win a second ball or play hard for the club. He was woeful.
The very small size of our squad is now starting to show too with injuries and suspensions. Missing tonight was Wynter, Reda, Partington, Greener (on bench), McKnight. With the next run of games coming up and then Christmas fixture pile up we are going to be struggling a bit I think!

The problem was our tactic is usually get as many crosses into the box as we can which usually works, but tonight we got absolutely zero change from their no 5 and 6 who headed every single ball out. When I saw them walking out for the first half I had a vibe that most of them weren’t up for this game and it showed massively in the first half. Agree Barnet was shocking, dunno whether he’s still carrying an injury? I don’t mind letting Williamson go but surely we need to get in another body to replace him, we’re thin enough as it is and strevs does seem incredibly reluctant to use the waterfields, beales, scoreys etc so even with them it’s a small squad made even smaller because we’re not going to play them.

I don't know anything about the players which you mention as not selected slewmcg but it might be that some of those players would not even make the bench if we were not missing so many players through injury or if we had proven players to replace them. I must admit I would definitely be playing Barnes though based on his performance against Torquay. Hopefully on Saturday we will have Joe Partington back at centre back and Danny Hollands back in midfield. We would have had three points last night had Partington been available and Marcus Barnes played from the start. By the way, looking at the club's squad web page MB seems to share the same body with Charlie Seaman. Does anyone know what's happened to Callum Baughan? I think he was in the squad earlier in the season.

Yeah that’s what I mean all these players are on the squad list on the back of programmes for example, and our squad is still smaller than every team we come up against so not playing these 4 or 5 players shows how desperately small the squad is. I also haven’t seen much of them and would assume they are no where near ready for national league standards and this is why they’re not being played which is fair enough I suppose.
Baughn did his ACL again I think so he’ll be out for the whole season. Going to be a big ask in December as we’re playing at least 2 games in a week throughout
