Could someone please let the club know that this match is due to take place? According to the club website the next fixture is home v Wrexham on 16th November. Most football clubs recognise the value of keeping their website up to date with as much info as possible to encourage supporters to see it as a means of keeping in touch with what is going on at their club - including ticket sales obviously. I reckon ours is possibly the poorest in our league and inferior to many in the leagues below.

The thing is though spitfiresteve, if the club doesn't put info on the appropriate pages, eg fixtures, on its website, anyone who isn't a regular supporter and who checks the website for match info will think Eastleigh don't have a game on Saturday. The TSSC are keen to get people to away games so they can lay on coaches once they get the numbers so publicising every game especially the always is important for them as well. It's not a question of me piping down it's about the club "piping up". It's a bit of a mystery to me because Kenny has done so many things right it's a shame that the website still needs sorting. And another thing, I use the Edge browser which defaults to the bing search engine and if you put Eastleigh FC into bing you won't even find the club website on their search results. Comes up on google OK but bing is fairly widely used so that's another problem. Sorry it took a couple of days to react to your post but just been on the move over those days.

Thanks for the reply. The game is certainly in the fixture list now but I agree the website could and should be better. You are right about the Bing search, although Bing only accounts for 8% of UK searches whereas Google accounts for 88%. The top search on Bing gives the wiki text and then links to our social media. I am sure there must be a techie amongst the supporters who can work out how to put our website higher in the search.

I'm curious as to how many are involved with Eastleigh media? Now there's no Echo to report in the same way as recent past, whose job is it to upload news, reports, and similar? For example, Woking have nothing but volunteers doing the job, but their site is way better than ours.
