Just like old times in Non-league football. I missed the old AGM Cup Final

First selfish thought is - well that'll be a more accessible away fixture if the Shots do get the reprieve. Sad though from a football point of view. The North East deserves better representation at National League level and above considering the size and intensity of support for the game up there. Having said that I won't mind too much who wins the League One Play Off Final.

Also feel sad for the fans - Gateshead deserves its own club at a decent level, but having to use the International Stadium obviously didn't help. Hope they can regroup and find their way up again, to repay all the hard work that's gone onto the club in the past. And get reliable ownership! Aldershot fans seem pretty 'meh' about their possible reprieve - obviously the circumstances, but also a feeling that they need a massive overhaul of the squad to remain competitive at this level, and they're not sure that the ownership can provide that. A new manager, too, but he did well at Braintree when taking over halfway through last season....
Given our record against the Shots, obviously we'd be happy to see them stay up.

Gateshead have still got a few days to appeal.
I think the date it will be all confirmed is at the National League AGM on June 8th.
