Another good signing for the Boro - they could do well next season. Mind you, with a new manager at Privett Park, doesn't mean that Messrs McAllister and Tubbs are now free? Or are they still there?

Macca and Tubbs are gone I think Paul.

Good to see Boycey back. With the right CB partner(s) he's very strong.
Bad news that Joey Jones has left - when he regained his fitness he was a major driving force in midfield. Not surprised a team like Salford wanted him.
He will be hard to replace. Congrats to him for making it back into the FL.

Good luck to them. Never really rated him much. Great technique but afraid to really get stuck in. Could be a great player. Rather have Miley personally

Some have mentioned we should sign Brandon Goodship from Weymouth. Too late. He signed for Southend United yesterday.

Don't think we could have competed with Southend - either on money or status.
Good luck to him - it's a big step back up, but he's been at two FL clubs before, hope it's third time lucky for him.
Wonder if his nickname is 'lollipop'?

Wonder if his nickname is 'lollipop'? Would be if he'd come here. I'm sure it would be lost on a lot of the youngsters, though.

We could have got them to sing it, though. Would have been an original football tune. Not my era either :-)

Jack Payne has today signed front ebbsfleet. Not a bad signing at all. Was a decent player for us when on loan this season. Hopefully he can find that form again for us. Ian Wilding on Twitter has called him “one of the best midfielders in the league”!! We will see.
Very positive message from Strevs on Twitter this evening too. Roll on a week or two of good news!

Yes, I remember, he looked pretty good in midfield but also impressed with his long passing. Pleased to see him back.

Funny thing. No-one has mentioned Josh Hare to Bristol Rovers & Mark Yeates to AFC Fylde today. No surprises they've left, really and given where he lives, Fylde is a perfect fit for MY.

Articles in the non-league paper indicate that Josh Hare has signed for Bristol Rovers, and Mark Yeates for AFC Fylde. Still at least we know which of last season's players have signed and it is now just a question of trying to find more players like Jack Payne who want to sign.
