If 3 results go our way, we could actually clinch a PO spot tomorrow! Its unlikely though.
Every reason to be confident going into the game against a mediocre struggling D & R. Reckon we will take a decent number too.

Won at our playoff rivals Ebbsfleet last time out (thanks for that), drew at Fylde and at home to Barrow the two before that - hardly struggling.
Their league position is due to a terrible start; they've picked up a lot since then, thanks to Peter Taylor's management. Still some uneven results, though - losing 3-0 at Havant + Wat, for example - coincidentally, where Ebbsfleet are playing today.
However, the Daggers are mathematically safe now, so let's hope they're thinking of the beach - although their players will still want to impress the management for next season. Not easy, but we are well capable of getting something out of it.

If you strip out the first 8 games, their record is 14-8-13. At home it is 7-5-5. So we should regard them as a solid mid table team who have nothing much to play for. Anything from this game will be another significant step on the road to the play offs. Good luck to everyone involved with the club who will be there today. I may not be physically with you, but my thoughts certainly are.

How familiarly depressing.

Such a shame a very poor performance. Some moron slagging the team off swearing at then at the end. Unnecessary right now! Southwood hands down man of the match other than a Jones and 2 Matthews efforts we didn’t look like scoring.
Dust selves down and go again Monday

So glad I didn’t waste time and money going to Dagenham today. Sounded like another away surrender. Still work to do now as we seem hell bent on making it as difficult as possible to seal a PO spot.

We are on a very poor run, remarkable that it is still ours to throw away. Ideally we would clinch top 7 Monday, rest the key players for our last game and be reasonable fresh going in to the Tuesday play off game. Trouble is at the moment, hard to see any outcome other than defeat no matter who we play in the play offs and that is, of course, assuming we get there. I am far from certain we will!
The key is going to be getting Reda J fit. Whatever anyone thinks of him, fact is with him we are a much better defensive unit and without him, we are all over the place. His fitness we will be the key to how this season eventually pans out.

Ebbsfleet only got a point at Havant and W - they even did well to get that, coming from 0-3 down to draw 3-3. It means that a win on Monday will put us needing a draw in our final game to make the playoffs - provided Ebbsfleet win both theirs. We need everyone available for the last two games, including Reda, and I agree with michaelefc's last paragraph on that.
If we get there it looks more and more like we'd travel to Wrexham. Unless Solihull Moors blow third place.

The only thing Good about this Friday is the performance of Eastleigh's other top sports team, Hampshire. Glorious day in the sun at the Rose Bowl and a second win in the one-day cup. Early days, but top of the table so far. James Vince's 95 and wicket keeper Tom Alsop's 130 not out were the highlights with the bat.

A decent tally of 164 spitfires made the trip. Disappointing result, but things elsewhere went our way so 3 pts up with 2 to play.
Odd to think we could still lose our last 2 and make the POs, but lets hope we can get a win Monday.

Simply not good enough & thrown it away at this key point of the season. Winning 5 away games on the bounce in February then losing at home to Halifax, Barrow & Barnet in March saw to it that they'd cocked it right up.

I'm looking no further than this Monday. If we have a fit RJ and play a similar way to how we did against Gateshead, we can win this. We are playing Maidenhead, not Barcelona. If we should win, then we will probably make the play offs. Granted playing as we have been recently, we will have absolutely no chance, but in a one off occasion we are capable of performing to a very high level. So although I see where you are coming from, I wouldn't write this season off just yet.
