You know I think he's overrated, but maybe we've missed Reda in the last two games, too? When he plays well, the defence plays well. That I cannot dispute, michaelefc. He does seem to add some 'je ne sais quoi' to the defence when he plays well, and they look more stable :-) The only point we may disagree on is, how often and how consistently does he play well? But it is a shame he's injured again, both for us and for him (since I'm not sure what his plans are for next season).

I have to say that I disagree re Danny Holland's red card. I don't think, from the angle I saw it, that it was even a foul. Regrettably I don't think we will see a camera angle of the penalised challenge because the video cameras are all on the other side of the ground. As for the ref, he was conned many times over by Barnet. Performance wise it seemed to me that we weren't really a balanced unit on the night and there will be many theories about what could have been done better but I feel confident that the management team will sort it out.

On last night's evidence Barnet are a far better team than their league position would suggest. It'll be interesting to see how they do in the games left.
Best forget that game pdq. One hopes Strevs and the players learn from it. Two very tough away games coming up. I'd be happy with 2 points from them after last night.
