With Eastleigh playing away all local support is massively appreciated on Saturday as "The Purples" push for promotion with 10 games remaining.
We had a fantastic 4-3 victory over Winchester City on Tuesday ,having been behind 3 times, to reach the final of the Southampton Senior Cup to be played at St Marys.
Admission is £6 and £3 concessions both including a matchday programme.
Your support will be most welcome and we can assure a very warm friendly welcome to all Eastleigh FC fans.

I was at the game on Tuesday and it was indeed a great effort by the Purps to overcome a team from two leagues higher and reach the final.
If the weather relents, I shall be going tomorrow to see your opposition in the final (Alresford), but anyone from EFC who fancies watching a good local side playing good football would do well to go to Stoneham. And still a good chance of promotion!

Let us know what you think of Alresford who will be big favourites at St Mary's !!

I would not say that Alresford will necessarily be big favourites at St Marys. In cup competitions this season I believe AFC Stoneham have beaten two teams two divisions above them and five teams one division above them with three victories coming in the Southampton Senior Cup.
In the league AFC Stoneham average 3.5 goals per game and could go second if they manage a reasonable return from their games in hand. Alresford though one division higher have from looking at the table lost as many league games as they have won.

Might just go and watch Gosport V Tiverton Town which can probably be called a 6 pointer in the Borough fight for survival in the Southern Premier League South. Both teams are on 39 points, 1 point above a relegation place, and Tiverton have a game in hand.

Probably not a day to judge Alresford - they were utter rubbish, totally undisciplined, with their manager leading from the front - he should have received two red cards for the things he said (for some of you, this may not be a total surprise). The players managed seven yellows and a red, we think, but we lost count. And conceded two penalties. They are in poor form (one point on the last five league games) - the visitors won today by being competitive in midfield (something I know Stoneham certainly are) and just waited for the whinging to start. The ref wasn't the best, to be fair, easily National League level ;-). The keeper made two howlers for the two goals, the defence tried to pass it around but looked uncomfortable against speed through the middle and crosses from the right, and the attack was lightweight. There were several changes from the last game so they may be suffering from injuries, suspensions, etc. so, as I say, it may not have been the best day to judge them. Luffman's teams normally work hard for ech other and get stuck in so I was surprised today.
As ever with the matches I attend, a report will be available on the Kempster non-league forum (although it's down at the moment). Normally my report also gets into the Wessex newsletter but it may not get past the censor this time ;-) I see you guys did your bit against Alton today.
Sounds like a disappointing afternoon at Gosport too. But certainly not a disappointing afternoon at Chesterfield! We now need to capitalise on it with two winnable hone games next week.

Did the Stoheham - Alton crowd beat the 100 we took to Chesterfield?!
I'm guessing it was close

41 according to Full-time. They don't normally get big crowds (88 v Romsey is the biggest I can see this season - there are a few 60s and 70s), the visitors won't have brought many. Don't know whether Saints being at home will have affected the number?
Same number as at Alresford, coincidentally.

Yes, a disappointing 0-1 result at Gosport against a limited Tiverton. Gosport had the better of the first half kicking downhill towards the clubhouse. A penalty conceded by Gosport just before half time was converted and seemed to give the initiative to Tiverton for the second half. That proved in the end to be the deciding goal. Tony Lee was suspended for this match after a red card last week and probably would have made the difference had he played. There were two players making their debuts for Gosport and they might hope to make more of an impact as they settle down into the team. Attendance was announced as 260 though it looked like more than that to me. Money is still very tight at the club and I found that the club shop is no longer. (I didn't like to ask why.)

Sholing offer a discount for EFC season-ticket holders - a bargain £4 for adults to get in. I always see a few EFC fans at Sholing whenever I go.
I wonder if you'd considered that? Since you've got a decent tea bar, you might get some of your money back anyway, and if Eastleigh fans feel 'special' then they might be more likely to turn up.
It would be good if the two clubs forged a connection of some sort - to be honest, they're unlikely to be rivals for some time.

We do have a good relationship with your club who have always been very helpful including arranging pre-season games and using our ground for midweek U18 games which all helps. We would be delighted to offer all Eastleigh season ticket holders entrance for £4 which will include an excellent programme . Children Under 18 are free. If this could be widely publicised within the club we would be very appreciative. We do have an excellent tea hut and all Eastleigh fans will receive a very warm welcome as we hopefully push for promotion having just beaten Winchester City last week to reach the final of the Southampton Senior Cup at St Mary's Thank you

Thanks - that sounds really good.
It's good to hear that you already have a relationship with EFC - I was certainly aware of the pre-season games.
Hopefully I'll get to see you again this season.
