My impression at the time was that the keeper had taken out the onrushing forward. I saw nothing there to make me change my mind.
What is clear from the second angle is that Joey Jones got the ball and not the man.

yeah never a pen. Are you looking at it properly hantslonder, the braintree player goes to ground well before the keeper comes in

Even if he was falling, I still think the keeper caught him, and he shouldn't have come out with his legs. Also, the ref was on the other (main stand) side and from there he wouldn't have been able to see Joey nick the ball.
To be fair we don't know why he gave the penalty, if it was for the Jones tackle then he was clearly wrong. The linesman had the best view of the latter, and should have seen that tackle. He must have had the same view as that very good slow-motion second angle. Think we may have to agree to disagree on this one. Either way it was a very good save from Luke, but the dissent ultimately cost us.
