Getting a really consistent run going now, and we must have every chance of the play offs. Its a cliché but we do need to take each game as it comes, win at home and try and get something away. Braintree next week will be very tough, but this run will be breeding confidence, and I am starting to believe!
Managed to get to this game- just! Was actually nearly half time but was in time to see Danny Hollands' goal 😀 Now, here's a thing- I bought my ticket online but realised before I left that I'd got a "home" fan one. So,I went incognito- but I did risk my blue trainers. Fact remains that I got a great view of Macca's 2 2nd half goals- took some doing keeping calm after that but it was rather "sad" hearing all the despondent comments around me. I think they will now struggle to stay up. Macca must surely be top of the "keep" list for next season!! 239 Spitfires at the game? Make that 240 😁

Why so few comments about the game? Maybe most contributors were at the game? Are some becoming complacent & only comment when we lose?
Anyway, by now all will have seen the reports on the game. Other observations from me:- La Fontaine now closed for good, but managed to park opposite the building, quick getaway after the game. The Crimea pub was a fine alternative with both sets of fans mixing amicably. Aldershot really should sort out access to the away section of the ground from the main road below the stadium, it's a long arduous walk for those less able than most of us.
Great performance from the Spitfires, especially JJ, PM & DH. Plus a terrific reception from the fans at the final whistle. All in all a grand day out. Except for the toilet facilities in our section, but I'm sure all away fans complain about them.
Leave it alone. These things go up and down. There are still 100's of people looking to see what's posted. If it should die a death so be it, in the meantime I will continue looking on here to see who posts what.
What I'd like to know is where all the doom mongers have gone who were predicting we'd be in a relegation fight. Funny how its all gone quiet!
