2-2 after conceding 2 late goals.
Michael green send off and the home side missed a pen as well

Self inflicted 2 points thrown away. Havant were clueless until they got a soft penalty. Luckily they missed it so the ref thought he’d help out a bit. Greener stupidly got sent off, a direct result of the ref’s earlier leniency on Havant’s no.8. We should have been 4 or 5 up, so we’ve only got ourselves to blame for not banking all 3 points. Massively disappointing result.

I feel like we have been mugged and I am still trying to figure out how we drew that game. For the most part it looked like we were playing lower league opposition.
Possible the poorest team we have faced in this division and we somehow managed to throw away two points, baffled but bring on the return.
Despite my disappointment, I have to admit that I stood on the terrace feeling rather smug, they used to refer to our ground as the scrapyard, their ground now looks "and smells" like a sh1thole compared to ours, how the wheel has turned.

I agree it is two points lost. In all departments we were the better team, but in this season of goodwill, the comments about their ground are irrelevant. The wheel has certainly not turned on the playing field with this latest result. H & W may well be the poorest team in the division, but what does that say about us!"

B-S, maybe to you, and you are entitled to your opinion as I am mine. They stick their guests next to a foul smelling sewer in their pissy little ground that they were always very wiling to compare to ours so why stop now?
Their team is Connie South standard at best but we all know this is a funny old game and these things can happen. I thought we played well and were a class above but panicked in the last 12 minutes once they got the first one.

Bit unfair to be rude about WL Park. Go to Braintree, Sutton, Maidenhead, Ebbsfleet, or Bromley etc etc & at least H&W have cover on all 4 sides, even if it's mostly standing. There was a time when I envied their ground compared to ours. Must say it's rather nice to travel just 40 mins for an away game.
We definitely bossed the game for 75% of it, but the soft unconverted penalty changed the game, gave them hope and the non partisan would probably say they deserved to draw for their efforts and our sitting back in the last 20 mins. They're far from the worst team in the division, and will probably just about survive this season, but do they have the resources etc to stay in the NL? Anyway, we need to concentrate on getting at least a point at Ebbsfleet on Saturday and then beating H&W at the Silverlake next Tuesday.

Feels like 2 points dropped, but following it online it seemed almost inevitable once Michael Green had got sent off. The pessimist in me was half expecting another for h&w in the minutes added on as well.
Hopefully we will put it right at home on NYD

Visiting family for Christmas, I left it too late to make the journey to Havant yesterday. Not wanting to miss Boxing Day footy, Paul Mc (also with us for Christmas) and I took the quick drive down to Wimbledon's temporary home in Kingston on Thames. Would have preferred to be watching Spitfires but AFC Wimbledon vs Plymouth Argyle was excellent entertainment. Four and a half thousand in a tight stadium (including 500+ Argyle) produced an excellent atmosphere and the football was good. BTW Dons currently have Tyler Garratt on loan from Doncaster and he had the last 10 minutes as sub and looked the part. We could do with him now.
