Got stung at Harlow last year's no show. No way I was enduring that again!

In the five seasons since being promoted to the top division of non-league football the club has only ever won one game in the F A Trophy. I did see our game in the competition at Ebbsfleet last year which was AH's first game as manager and it was quite a good performance despite the result.
In each of the last four seasons it has been not too much good telling the manager at the start of the season that we want to make the F A Trophy an important priority as in each case we have had a different manager at the start of the F A Trophy campaign.

We had a good team out so this wasn't down to the Manager. I don't know what was up with Max but he showed a total indifference to the game. He didn't even come out to warm up. Disappointing result but nice to see Zeb put in a good shift.

Yeah I thought that too, although strevs did say he was ill in that interview. Thought his kicking was a bit off and just generally looked like he didn’t want to be there which I can’t blame him for really. Pretty sure the whole team would rather have stayed at home

So, next round draw has been made, and, if we had won, we would have had a home tie against Wingate & Finchley, two tiers below us

We'd have been quite capable of screwing that up. Don't assume we would have won. EFC and the trophy just don't go. Why I will never know - I guess its just the way it is.

Not surprised by our result either. In fact, I even got the score right.
However....
Aldershot put out their academy team tonight in the FAT replay at Southern League Bedford Town and lost 7-0. Not enough fit players, they said. Needham Market withdrew from the competition rather than play their FAT replay at Weymouth, the players can't get time off work to travel that distance, they said.
