I have been using Sherwoods recently mainly due to being able to drinking out of glass rather than plastic.
Also for 3 quid, free coffees and bar snacks. Sausage rolls, pork pies, and general bar snacks. Then you just have a better place to drink only thing missing is the lads from the Hanger.
Yesterday given people pay extra you expect quick service, so I was annoyed to see one young lad trying to keep up with at least 10 to 20 waiting for a pint. Thankfully due to the great english tradition of Q ing nobody was too frustrated.
I however was not impressed and you have to wonder who is in charge given that this was going to be a busy day and an opportunity to promote Sherwoods. I spoke to one of the lads working upstairs and said to him that someone was needed to help this one lad.The lad I asked came down shortly afterwards and then we had two behind the bar and another lady later came down to help.
This should not have happened, enough staff should have been in that bar to send a positive message of good service given you have paid a little extra.
Those running the bars need to be 'on the ball' when it comes to basics like this.
I have to say those working behind the bars at EFC have always worked really hard and yesterday was the same. The lad in Sherwoods was as good as gold given the amount of people he was serving.
You must however wonder who is managing this because not having enough people just puts pressure on those trying to give best possible service.
Kenny, have a look at this as I am a minor shareholder concerned that people have a good experience at EFC as well as the people who work for us.
