forget about yesterdays game, its only 1 game. much as we will like Ben Strevs, I'm sorry to say he is not the right man for the job for me. Lots of decent applications around so we here so we need to appoint one, would like a younger man (under 50, maybe 40) but someone who has had at least a couple of years managing at this level

If he is appointed then it will be a sad inditement of the board's ambition and the club's finances despite its protestations that everything is sound.

the head says he may not be the right man, the heart says why not give him a go. Am glad that EFC are taking their time over this decision. Its worth some careful thought. Its a funny thing changing managers. Often the manager departs very suddenly, out the blue & people want/expect the new manager in straight away, but its right to go through a process and take time.
