Perhaps a little more to Hess leaving other than ‘being closer to home’ after tonight’s board announcement

First of all I hope Jewlers health improves and a thanks to them all for the service to the club. To me it seems obvious that if changes at board level were going to happen and with manager situation, this is an ideal time to make these changes in one go, rather than in dribs and drabs down the line.

We need a new manager what about an up and coming one I would go for Mark Moseley from Weymouth FC he has worked wonders at Weymouth with no money and has some great contacts and not forgetting he still has ties at Bournemouth so plenty of loan potential , what do any others reckon? But does MM want to go full time & has he applied for the job?

Interesting to note that if we exclude spells as Assistant Manager or Director of football the last five managerial appointments have all lasted less than a year, and two of the clubs to reach the playoffs last season had a manager who immediately prior to taking up the appointment have been senior players at the same club.
I think that the club's three longest serving managers since Wessex League days have either been local or had a genuine affection for the club and all three achieved promotion or reached the playoffs in their first full season as manager.
