Didn't say you speak nonsense, just that you are often rather cynical about the club.

Didn't say you speak nonsense, just that you are often rather cynical about the club. That's because they throw punters out of the clubhouse because they're not posh enough, throw out boisterous young fans & turn the place into a graveyard, have a chairman with a mouth full of promises that sloped off to Sunderland, can't sort out their bloody website, got rid of a damn good young goalkeeper when we needed one, turned the Hangar into an offsite 'pub' that shuts when the games on.....nothing is good about them at the moment apart from the brilliant s/t prices, which STILL doesn't attract new fans.

Do feel a shame that Hessentaler has gone and it sticks in the claw a bit given we are 10th & Dover 23rd. Appreciate its close for AH and Dover have given him a 3 year contract, so I think they may well be the deciding factors. www.doverathletic.com/news/hess-is-back-at-crabble/

I see from the Dover forum that they might be signing Cody McDonald, released by AFC Wimbledon.
Now there's a good striker! And I think knows Hess from Gillingham. Could have been us?

Christ, what a horrifically awful way to run a club. Apart from price why would anybody new come and support this club?

gotta be honest, thinking it all through, we have done the right thing here. if his hearts not on it and hessentaler wanted to move on, for whatever reasons then its best we just move on. otherwise we are here with a manager who doens't really want to be here, that is no good.
slate hessenthaler if you want, though really what is the point? but don't knock eastleigh fc for doing the best they can for eastleigh fc. lets get someone in who will be 100% committed to the job without any ifs and buts and not looking around elsewhere & and hope they can take us to the next level

Like all clubs nothing runs as well as some would like, Don’t target the club as a failure because AH wants to go to Dover, someone else will come in and if they get a good start we will then be hearing what a result it was that AH left , if the new manager doesnt then nor did AH this season up until a loan keeper came in so let’s keep this realistic.i maybe proved wrong however at the moment things are OK with the team , sorry if this opinion upsets some of you.

Some people may think of Ben Strevens as potentially a Chris Todd mark 2, but it is interesting to note that when CT was manager of Eastleigh we finished 7th and then 4 points from 4 the following season with the two defeats being to a last minute goal at Tranmere and the other in which the game could have in my view gone either way.
Also with Richard Hill and Stewart Donald gone who sorts out the player contracts? I expect that many managers especially those who are travelling a long distance would prefer to work on the training ground with the players than be involved with this.
Dover are very much struggling at the moment, but they are still three divisions higher than when AH begun his first spell with the club where in three seasons he achieved successive promotions which he followed up with a playoff place.

We need a new manager what about an up and coming one I would go for Mark Moseley from Weymouth FC he has worked wonders at Weymouth with no money and has some great contacts and not forgetting he still has ties at Bournemouth so plenty of loan potential , what do any others reckon?
