Another win? Another clean sheet?! No, and no. I fear this might be the game our unbeatable goalkeeper gets beaten. But I think we might get a draw. Gateshead have been really inconsistent, their last home game they lost to Braintree, since then they've won at Chesterfield and Barrow. Their away form has generally been better than their home form, so we might get something out of it. Good luck to those who are travelling up there.

What a difference a week makes! Not all down to the new keeper for sure, but he has something to do with it, I'd wager.

Since Max's arrival - three games, three clean sheets ( albeit they hit the wood work twice today). Are we ever to concede a goal again.
Up the table we go.

Lets get the mantra going 1-0 to the Easter..lee. We are always capable of nicking a goal and IF the defensive nonsense has finally been sorted, no reason why we should ever be bottom half again.

Always nice to be proved wrong (second time this season I've had to say that) - good result, well done everybody!
And my tip for the title, Orient, lost their first game of the season today (home to Sutton U) and are replaced at the top by Salford.

When was the last time we went 3 games without conceding? At the moment, everything seems to be coming together in defence, a terrific keeper, one of the best defenders in the NL who has overcome his first two season problems, a system that suits the players and we seem to have overcome the early season injury crisis. All going very well atm. If only we could score a few more goals! Not a criticism of the team & I bet they feel the same way, but I'm sure AH will be working on it & if we do manage that, it'll be the icing on the cake. Exciting times ahead, let's hope. Be good to see a few doubters back at the Silverlake in 2 weeks time. 11th? Blimey, who'd have predicted that 2 weeks ago?

When was the last time we went 3 games without conceding? No one bothered to answer, so I'm replying to my own question, having now done a bit of research. Only 2 years ago, actually. Aug/Sep 16 v Wrexham 0-0 (A), Solihull Moors 2-0 (H), Bromley 5-0 (A) & North Ferriby 2-0 (H), Ronnie Moore's first 4 games, although technically he wasn't in charge for the Wrexham game, having only come to the club the previous day.
