What do we reckon, then? Can we repeat the win on Saturday? Borehamwood are always a tough team to beat, although Salford managed to do it on Saturday. The loss of PM is a bit of a blow, but hopefully everyone else is fit.

A draw, if we can keep our concentration and avoid errors and red cards. Can't see many goals in it if we do. They're a good team - the defeat at Salford was their first in seven.
Wonder what format we'll play without Paul Mc up front? Will Zeb (who looked like his old self when coming on as sub on Saturday) do it?
Will Reda be able to play two games in four days?
Will Huddart be in goal for them? He was called up to the England C squad recently!
Am I going to regret not going to Sholing v Slough instead? :-)

Wow! Who'd have thought last Friday that 4 days later we'd have taken 6pts, with 2 clean sheets. Up to 14th, 6 pts clear of relegation places & 6 behind the top 7. And no yellow cards tonight.
Let's face it, with Stack in goal, we'd probably have been 2 down at half time. That save by Max on about 40mins was exceptional and he has certainly made a big difference in the defence, and we now look a very difficult team to beat, especially with Reda looking so strong every game. I tend to think Jack Payne has also made a big difference to the side and the way we are playing.
Going forward, we try to play good football, not always successfully, and few would describe us as an attractive, entertaining side at the moment, but we're certainly moving in the right direction.
Far better vibes around the place than there were a month ago. Onward and upward, Spitfires.

Agree with the above. It reminded me a bit of the other midweek home league game we had, v Bromley - not the most entertaining game I've ever seen, but we were the better team and deserved the win. I was disappointed with BW, who weren't very adventurous and when they did have to come forward near the end all they had was long balls. Great save by Max, who again exuded confidence, great goal by Mark Yeates - he never stops trying, and although a lot of it doesn't come off, he's always capable of something like that. Strange that he'd tried the same thing a few minutes before and forced Huddart into a good save - they didn't learn. Otherwise it was the solid performance at the back I was hoping for, some good midfield performances, and although Zeb worked hard and had some successes, the team played as if he was a straight McCallum replacement - he isn't, he's a different type of player. Good the see the manager bring Beano on to partner Zeb later on to show he wanted the win, and he got his reward.
I was surprised to see Reda voted MOM - he was good, but not particularly outstanding. Wynter did well too, as did Boyce when he came on. Yeates for his effort, and the winning goal?

Good win tonight, solid performance. Didn't look much like scoring for much of the game but with Paul M & Ben W coming back that should help.
Keeper looks very impressive, great distribution, shot stopping, very impressive indeed for a young keeper coming into a new team. I bet there are quite a few less capable keepers playing week in week out in the football league.
Didn't make Saturday, but from what I can gather was a similar sort of game. Things are definitely on the up at the moment.

Cant remember the last time we looked this solid at the back. I thought everybody put in a solid shift; even Zeb, whilst he didn't have a great game, was chasing back even after 90 minutes. It was a solid hard working performance, and although the crowd was small, there was a better atmosphere in the ground. I thought Reda was a good shout for MOTM, with him fit, once PM comes back I think we should be more top half than bottom.

TBH the save he made around 40 minutes was world class.

My son in law had my st for the game and took his son. His words on the phone to me after were "God that was boring".
