Brilliant. So we now have the option of not having to be anywhere near some of their despicable ‘fans’

TBF, there's only 4 or 5 of them and with the problems the club is experiencing at the moment, they may well have gone elsewhere. Never helps the situation when an equally small element of people from this neck of the woods goad and wind them up. Maybe that few don't come to our games anymore?

Never helps the situation when an equally small element of people from this neck of the woods goad and wind them up. Maybe that few don't come to our games anymore? I really hope they don’t go anymore and understand some have received bans because of their behaviour. I personally could never forgive those cruel and sick grown men for the obscenity that was shouted at Kyle. We can’t tar them all with the same brush though. Some of their true fans approached us apologising for the words that were used - they were equally as disgusted with them as we were. Unfortunately Kyle was so upset that he will never attend a match involving D&R again.

Their recent form is W2 D2 L0, now out of the bottom four, so they obviously won't be a pushover.
Obviously, not sure at the moment on who's fit and who's not, but we should be capable of getting something out of the game.
Ross in goal, presumably? He needs a clean sheet to restore confidence after Tuesday.

Watch it on tv if they have any sense.

Watch it on tv if they have any sense. Think all Spitfires who attended will be glad they were there today.

Can't remember the last time we had an atmosphere at the Silverlake, like in the second half. The scenes after the goal were something else. Terrific confidence from the young keeper, he exuded confidence, was organising the defence throughout, his distribution was top class, and if he doesn't make a good career in the game, I will be very surprised. A great day to be a Spitfire.

Don't know (or care) how it looked on BT Sport, but I thought it was good entertainment, with both sides trying to play football.
The first half was quite even, with few chances, but Daggers should have been two up with the penalty miss and the solo run by Adeloye which he missed. They started the second half better, but we dominated the last half hour. After all the chances we had I expect most people had given up when Alex Wynter got that goal, I think everyone, even in the blue stand, jumped up when that went in.
Another battling performance from the team, with the usual inability to take chances, and the usual odd defensive error thrown in to make it interesting.
Man of the Match Max was a clear winner, as said, he looked confident, his distribution was superb, and then the penalty save (which I called). He also seemed to enjoy himself, which was great to see. He could become popular here if he carries on like that. Defence was mostly good, midfield worked hard, Payne continued to make his long crossfield passes to good effect, Yeates caused his usual trouble, with variable results, Gobern seemed to need too much time on the ball and when he lost it, it sparked a Daggers attack. Up front McCallum held the line well as usual but IMO he could have seen red rather than yellow for the first tackle, then the second yellow... ridiculous. He really has to be careful, he does his fair share of backchat too. Zeb made a massive difference when he came on - looked more like the player of last season.
Crowd of 1538 should have enjoyed themselves, I think. The weather probably kept the crowd down amomgst other things.

Still buzzing from that win today. The pre-game Rolie Polie Goalie Chicken Balti Pie, was excellent and a very welcome lunch. Starting team line-up, and I'm not sure about this, but I reckon contained no more than 3 over 30s, Reda, Greener & Yesteryear? That's a really positive change from last season. D&R looked a very good side going forward in the first half, without really looking like scoring until that penalty. Good coaching by RF or did Max make a good guess? Deserved save, was it a penalty in the first place?
Second half and subs made by AH really changed the game. Good saves by their keeper, near misses by us, then AW's first goal which was a cracker. The only downside to the whole afternoon was that dreadful decision by the ref to give PM a second yellow for clearly pulling out of tackling the D&R playing. Wanted to make a name for himself on TV. So he'll be missing on Tues Eve, and next Sat?
Very good performances from all Spitfires today, especially Stryjek, Jones, Yeates, and Reda as usual. Plus a terrific atmosphere in the ground for the last 10/15 mins. Even chanting in the main stand!!

Sadly had to watch at home as I've a stinking cold. First half Daggers definitely edged it and for the first 20 mins of the Second half as well, should have gone in 2 up at the break. Poor dragged shot when the striker was clean through and a stonewall penalty as Gobern didn't get anything on the ball. Poor penalty but a welcome save by Max nevertheless. Gobern at fault for both chances, gave the ball away on halfway for the first chance and a rash tackle in the box. We were guilty on a few other occasions of giving the ball away cheaply in dangerous situations. Nice to see positive substitutions from Hess with the aim of winning the game, we dominated the last 25 mins and it was just reward for the positivity that we nicked it with Wynter's header at the death. Stupid second yellow from McCallum, he really is a brain dead getting sent off for that. Overall good determined team performance with a draw probably being a fair result but delighted we pinched all 3 points.
