The season tickets are good value but I don’t think people should get carried away that it’s some grand gesture by Stewart Donald. If he puts them up people won’t renew and certainly he won’t get any new fans so it’s a business decision at the end of the day by a businessman-as is every football decision.

Still a very good decision. Many chairman don't have the foresight he does. He is a great chairman and I am all for celebrating him while we have him.

It’s not a good decision-it’s the only decision a businessman can make who wants to grow the fan base and fill a load of empty stands.

It’s not a good decision-it’s the only decision a businessman can make who wants to grow the fan base and fill a load of empty stands. I think you and michaelefc are both right - it's a business decision, sure, but it's also a good decision, in as far as it's consistent with his stated and projected ethos in valuing the fans and the community, and trying to promote loyalty to the club, the town, and growing the 'brand'. So it's good for SD, and good for us. Also, of course, these prices might enable us to watch L2 football next season! At the moment I'm seeing it as a good deal, bearing in mind the package I'm being offered, with the entertainment on the pitch and the facilities off it. I'm not into the bars and 'corporate' stuff, (but as I've said I can totally see why they're there) and I can see the pricing as being a way also to reassure 'non-corporate fans' who are just there for the football, that they are still valued.
