6 unbeaten in the league now, a terrific little run. We are scoring goals for fun at the moment, and if we can become a bit more solid at the back, who knows where it will take us. Delighted.

Some very very dark days under hill this season but now that is over and the team are scoring goals and entertaining fans, which is what we all turn up for. Long may this continue.

Spot on ‘mystic’ Bomber! Delighted with that the result. Also we’ve now given away 4 penalties in 4 games - had to save one eventually. Got to get one right now & again.

Most accounts seem to think Torquays penalty was a rather iffy one!
Really decent run we are putting together now, in striking distance of the top half.

The penalty was very iffy and if it was the Torquay player who l think it was, he was falling down all over the pitch all throughout the game getting too many free kicks for his team. Their goal was odd in that Flitney appeared to signal it was going wide but it didnt, so he looked a bit silly when it went in, but he recovered well and did well after that. Gavin Hoyte`s goal was a rifling shot which beat Clarke and was the only one of the half l think from EFC. All in all a very good day out and Torquay still look like a decent outfit, l hope they stay up

The penalty should never of happened as we should have been awarded a free kick at the other end which would have resulted in them not being down the other end to get awarded the penalty (the save was justice !)

If the save was justice, how about the injustice that we came away with all 3 points!!!! Speaking to a lad who went to the game in the pub yesterday he said Torquay were much the better side and don't deserve to be bottom of the table, in fact he reckons if they had some decent strikers to finish off all their good approach work to the penalty area, Torquay would be challenging at the top end of the table. Meanwhile we played hoof football again which is not pretty but I guess the win is all that matters.

I was there . It wasn't all hoof football. Look at our 2 goals which surely evidences that. Scoring goals for fun-eh no don't think so. There have been many games where the dice has rolled against us--this time we got rub of the green. So I will take the 3 points. Plenty of talking points, not a drab game with no goals and worth every penny of a day out

To be fair to Ross, the Torquay goal was well struck, low and in the corner from only 20 yards, don't think many national league keepers would save that.

not convinced it was a foul for the pen, but definitely out the area as others have said
