don't think we are in a relegation fight, don't think we are not in a relegation fight, its early December! I would say February is when you can start talking about that sort of thing.
Yes we need to strengthen the side and its not surprising questions are being asked of the manager.
A win from somewhere would be great, even Tuesday in the HSC would be a start!
Also wouldn't underestimate the importance of the trophy, in the last few years it has been low priority - if we could get past Ebbsfleet and have a Trophy run it might just save our season

Get those rose tinted specs off Rendel, we are bang in a relegation battle.
We have needed 3 extra players since September and ones who want to be at Eastleigh for the right reasons, half of our team are just not good enough or don't have the heart or fight for it.
Stuff the HSC, we need league points urgently. I agree a good run in the trophy would be good but now it's very low profile in our list of priorities.

The sad reality is that nothings changed in fact it’s all getting worse by the game! We are in big trouble, terrible form with no prospect of improving. If the players need RH to rip into them at the end of the game then that says a lot about the general atmosphere within the club! This is serious ,

Who in their right mind wants to play under the management of Hill?

This was the game I was waiting for. I did not go but a loss here means we to change.

Did Hudson wassisname play? If not, why not? Agreement as on loan that he would not play. He was doing pundit role on Radio Solent commentary. More surprisingly there was an agreement that Stern would not play against us as part of his move to Sutton.

Predictable poor result from one of the dulllest teams in the league.

I hope you are right that we beat Bromley but is our form really inconsistent? Id argue we have become consistently poor - we didn't win a game in November and only 5 out of 23 all season.

We played six games in Nov - in two of those games (Chester, Halifax) you could argue that we played well for two thirds of those games, and in another two (Barrow and Maidenhead) you could argue that we played well for the last third of the game. Losses to Dover and Sutton away were pretty predictable, but with the other four games we should have been looking for 8+ points instead of 3. .
Not enough by a long chalk, I agree, which is presumably why RH said what he said.
Interesting that he referred to Sutton being better physically, and this was even more interesting: 'We’ve got some really nice, decent blokes who have been good players, which is why they were signed'. What?
Two hard away games after the Bromley game, so we need to get something out of it.

Manager change at Torquay, now they are moving up the table, same at Barrow, new man comes in, getting points on the board, I expect Orient to do likewise when JE gets in there and sorts it out. Unless we find some form, we'll be in the bottom four as those clubs pass by us. The folly of having an old experienced team with no pace in it shows how stupid the forward planning was before the season started. Just how many of the players do you think will be here next season? A number will probably retire, those with contracts ending will probably leave, the loan players go back to their clubs...what will be left? There is no question there will be major changes in personnel but the main one for me would be that we get players on two year deals. I don't like one year deals, if you're selling the club to a player, to come and sign for us, that we have ambitions to go up, then you need to show him you want him, and one year deals could well mean he'll go elsewhere, perhaps for less money but an extra year financially makes a big difference to the decision of the player. We really have to stop signing 30+ year olds, they are not the future of EFC. I think the future of RH as Manager will be decided over the next 6 league games, he needs his team to obtain at least 13 points, anything less and relegation is very likely, just take a look at the fixture list after we play Guiseley at home, I don't see many points at the remaining 10 away games given our form, and still to come to us after Guiseley will be Hartlepool, Borehamwood, Halifax, Dover, Orient, Ebbsfleet, Wrexham and Macclesfield...a bloody nightmare. The target has to be 51 points to be certain and that is a long long way off at the moment.

Good point but would you really want the players we got now on two year deals?! From how most of them have played so far this season it's probably better that we can release at the end of the season without incurring more costs
