What more can I add, at least we had a plan b, which was hoof it even harder forward, and to a forward line who have no pace, control or any idea what they are going to do.
The only positive was Yeates and he is a sub, please can someone tell me what Beano does, right midfield you are having a laugh. Flitney is all over the place, surely Chields is a better option.
Is there anyone (maybe Yeates) who would on that performance get in the Solihal team? And they were bottom of the league.
No pace,(saw more movement in the walking football team tonight) tactics,no nothing, sorry if Hill stays were going down, time to act SD.

Oh dear. Not a good advert for potential new fans.
Solihull, under new manager Richard Money, looked a decent team, their front three ran rings round our midfield and defence, especially in the first half.
We were great in the first three minutes, having two good efforts on goal, then a long ball caused an error, we conceded, and it all went downhill from there. The long ball caught us out a couple more times. There were a lot of unforced errors.
For the second goal their winger was allowed to run far too far down the left before his cross-shot. We got a goal back quickly, but the errors continued and we didn't really look like getting an equaliser. In fact they should have had a couple more on the break. Pantomime villain Brodie was unmarked at least twice. Yeates was the only one who looked remotely dangerous later on. The hoof-ball was again well in evidence tonight. Macca's the only one suited to that, and he came on far too late for it.
Three home games - two pretty poor performances with a half-decent one in between. The inconsistent season continues. Not sure where RH goes from here. We'll probably beat Macc next Saturday ;-)
Rather quiet tonight - I could hear the 61 Solihull fans nearly all the time.

If I was a new fan, I'll say no thanks, my son said on leaving, at least we don,t have to come here Saturday! But I said you won't get away likely as you will be back the following week. Now locked himself in his room and refusing to come out till 5th November.
Heads up to 61 fans from Solihull for coming tonight, that might our crowd by season end.

I wasn't there tonight, but as I suspected, the last minute goal on Saturday merely papered over the cracks we have been seeing from almost the start of the season. Everything everyone else says about tonight's game confirms the style of play we have been seeing for 3 months. Not sure where this setup can go next apart from downwards. Time for SD to make some difficult decisions. Anyone remember what happened the day after the last 'free' game?

I am not defending that. Poor all over the pitch and once again NO PACE. It is killing us, and until we get some younger fitter legs, we are going nowhere.
With regards the freebies though you are wrong there. Dreadful performance from us, but from a neutrals perspective an entertaining game. Lots of goalmouth action and could easily have ended 5-5, and I heard a number of people saying so.
Cant say I thought it was boring, just incompetent and oh so slow. Their number 17 terrified us every time he ran with the ball.

Their 17 was a spitefully cheat! I started watching him after he and Ayo had problems, constantly diving, bitching and fouling, the ref should have sorted him out!! Shame because he was a good player, his attitude possibly why he's not playing at a higher level

The first 5 mins we looked great, played the ball quickly, 2 shots on target - thought we were in for a goalfest...... then Solihull score easily on their first attack and everyone's heads dropped. Generally they were just quicker around the pitch, we were slower - they ran on to receive the ball, we waited for it to come to us and it got intercepted - they chased people down and chased back, we backed off rather than closing down...... and there were still plenty of goal scoring opportunities for both teams that weren't taken !

Not impressed with his post match interview. I'm not saying he's the perfect man for the job, but I still don't want Hill out. I still like him and just hope he changes his tactics because they are just not resulting in many positive results at the moment. I'd be tempted to change the formation to suit the players we have rather than play everyone out of position. Last night we had 3 center Halfs on the pitch and a left back who loves to attack, as well as a right mid who does alright to get back. Surely the answer is to try 3 at the back with wingbacks? At least try it for one game, what's the worst that can happen? We lose again?

I'm a big fan of 3 at the back, and believe if it's used to each players strengths, it can be one of the most threatening formations both going forward and defensively. But as I say, if it doesn't work then the worst then can happen is yet another loss when we may have lost anyway. Think it would be worth a shot, personally

Swap Wood for Miley, otherwise worth a go, we need Matthews back.
