Personally, I'd rather focus more on the FA cup than the FA Trophy or HSC. Those competitions don't bring any money or new fans to the club whereas the FA cup does. Lots of people started following Eastleigh after their cup run of the season before last, I know a fair few who upped their interest in the club after that. Even if we only got to the second round, it's only 3 extra games to the whole season. Cup runs in HSC or FAT would rack up a lot more fixtures than 3 in the FA Cup.

"bit of a blow about not allowing the parking passes too (although they're perfectly entitled to do this)."
Last year we played North Leigh FC at this stage in the cup and parking was free. However our opponents were never going to bring the several hundred fans that Hereford take to their away games. Sadly, charging for parking is probably the only effective method.

It's worth noting that the new facilities will be used accordingly now during big games so us mortals don't have to stand in puddles under a marquee or re-enact black friday sales at the bar when they close it off.

I wouldn't be so sure. If a big team comes to town and there is not enough space to serve prawn sandwichs them I'm sure the jewel rattlers will commander the hanger and we'll be turfed out of there as well. Got to get past Hereford first though, might sneak a 1-0.
