Elements of truth, especially regarding our style of play at the game in question, BUT Woking fans are obsessed with us out of envy & jealousy and the fact they are going nowhere. I really don't get why some fans of clubs like Woking & Aldershot seem to rubbish us. Can't remember anyone on here doing it about other clubs. It can only be down to their lack of class, insecurity & resentment. Or, it could be down to our extremely good looks and witty banter ;-)

"A waste of a club". I have to agree and it's that waste that has made some of their fans so bitter about any other club's success.
I can remember Woking's success in the 1950s as an amateur club - 71,000 at Wembley for the 1958 Amateur Cup final against Ilford. But since the 1990s and a FA Cup run that ended in the 4th Round at Everton in 1990/91 and FA Trophy successes which are more than 20 seasons old, the cupboard has been pretty bare with just a single league title in the Conference South in 2010/11.
Their 7 recent seasons in the top flight of NL football has found them finish - 15th 17th 21st(R) 12th 9th 7th 12th.
Woking were around for 55 years before we came into existence and played from 1911 to 1983 in the Isthmian League, the pinnacle of Southern Amateur football alongside the likes of Wimbledon, Wycombe, Dulwich, Leytonstone, Ilford, Kingstonian, etc. It must be hard to accept nearly 20 seasons of mediocrity. We've only had to endure a season.

We should be kinder in our comments about Woking and Aldershot fans. After all, it's said that we share 99% of our DNA with them
