Please don't!
ys we have lost some players we loved as fans, but ask yourself who you support. It's sad some have gone but there will be new heros! We support the club and cheer on the players. So get behind the club, for those I've heard are threatening to not come next year I will you well and will wave you goodbye!
the club has a clear plan. MA and SD have a plan to reduce the wage bill and get a team of hungry players together who all want league football. So renew your season tickets, sign up for one if you haven't got one, get behind the club. I am very sure you'll all love the names we are hoping to sign in the summer, I think a couple will take many of us, and many league 2 clubs by surprise! It's an up and coming club and we cannot take players with us just because the fans love them!
Sorry for the rant but we all knew greener was gonna leave one day, personally I didn't think it would be this season, but it is and we all wish him the best, along with Jai, Mandron, Parts and Coulson but we all support Eastleigh, so get behind the lads, the management team, and Stew and support the club more than you ever have!
up the spitfires. Here's to the next 18 months of supporting an amazing club!

Team of hungry players i know MA said he was going to control their diets but thats daft. Think the subs will be warming up closer to The Spitfire Grill

We have a clear plan, yes. To clear almost the whole of the deck on the playing side and start again from scratch next season. Understand that, understand the reasons. Virtually all the players fans identified with have gone. Admittedly some of them should have gone. Personally I'm also sad some our rising young stars didn't stay here and fulfil their potential. I'd have hoped for higher transfer fees for them at least, but then I'm not in charge and don't know all the circumstances.
There is a big risk in doing all this; the team may not gel immediately next year, or not at all - however good MA is (and from his track record I believe that he is good). We signed a lot of players in the summer last year and it didn't go well, although, as I said, I believe we have a better manager now to handle all that.
It looks like we're filling in with loan players and new players for the rest of this season with little continuity. It looks like we've written this season off - just over halfway through the campaign. What sort of message does that give supporters? This season's season-ticket holders? I'm not greatly looking forward to the next 2-3 months at the Silverlake.
Yes, we had the FA Cup run (I still think we should have tried harder in the FA Trophy too), and that will keep people going for this season. But it really had better work next season! And I'm sure the manager, and the chairman know this.
Enormous pressure to deliver immediately next season, I'd say. I can see why some people here are wavering. It's a big leap of faith. Let's hope it works. They need our support to help achieve it.

It wasn't working, we weren't where the chairman wanted us to be so we have a manager with new ideas and energy. We should be happy that changes are happening and go with it. I don't understand what's to complain about?

IMO all fans should support the team through good and bad times and remember how far we have come in a short period of time. We have to trust SD and his vision and with the ground improvements and investment the club will become a league club in the near future and with the difficulty of getting out of this league i believe MA is looking to build a young lively squad to achieve this. We still have a few experienced players and whilst fans favourites have gone other players will take there place and like Reda and Ayo have responded and will respond and communicate with the fans as the likes of Parts,Jai and Greener did. I believe these are exciting times and cannot imagine that I will not continue as a Season ticket holder and enjoying the affordable football on offer as well as the social interface with other spitfires.

I certainly will be getting behind the team. My season ticket will be renewed. Though I think I am in the minority as this clear plan in not so clear to me.

I'm sure some of the players we signed at the beginning of this season took "many of us, and many league 2 clubs by surprise!", but many of those have already been shipped out. There are no guarantees that whoever comes in will stay fit and/or do the job for the club (Reda & Ryan Cresswell are an excellent pairing in the middle but haven't managed many games)
As for the season ticket, currently thinking I wont renew, but that's because of the smoke rather than anything to do with the on-field side

Sad to see long serving players go – yes Sad to see good players sold and moving up in the Football pyramid – yes but good luck to them Happy to see expensive underperforming players go – yes Should SD throw more money at a lost cause – no. He has took a step back, evaluated the situation and had a change of plan. The fact he is still up for investing in a complete new direction for the club is good for us all that have dreams of league football at Eastleigh. This season all I need to see is a coherent team playing together and for each other. Next season will be far more successful. Don’t forget we have four very good players injured two on the mend but two of which we will not see again for a while. Smoke a problem - For the club maybe because of the Pyro regulations but not a reason to turn in your season ticket. Season ticket for me next season – YES

Wouldn't be football if you didn't have people complaining! For me I'm reasonably happy. But if the prices go up in the new bar I'll be kicking right off!!

With all the turmoil BEFORE Martin came here I'd already written the season off & will be amazed if we get in the play offs. But at the end of the day it's good value for money & I've got sod all else to do on Saturdays.

OK things have not been great of late, in a roller coaster season but I have full confidence that things will get better soon. Not expecting a win tomorrow, a draw would be a good result but really looking forward to the run of home games coming up.
Renewal of season ticket? Absolute no brainer. I've been an Eastleigh supporter for 10 years, so why would I stop now? Best of times to come.

I wish I had a time machine and could ship all those complaining back to the late 90's so they could watch a team that finished 13th in the Wessex League getting dicked 7-0 at home to AFC Totton, while standing with the rest of the 40-50 people that made up the crowd, in the pouring rain trying to shelter under the trees that ran along the side of the pitch!
Of course this season has bee disappointing but let's keep some perspective!
