WILSON Agree with the above, whilst Childs is in form, an experienced keeper is a must in this game. No flares, no trouble.......just over 100 inflatable spitfires, some balloons and a party atmosphere!!!! oh, and an upset too ;-)

This game need experience, especially with our second choice centre half partnership and no Drury or Taylor offering experience in the middle. If we have a chance at winning this game we won't win it with nervous heads. Needs to be players who have played football league and know about the pressures

With Reda out, who would MA's choice for Captain be? Personally, I'd like to see Duggy take the helm, Wembley Winner, league experience, very level headed and can handle big games

I'll be very disappointed if Childs isn't selected. He totally deserves his place in the starting line up because he has been excellent so far. ''If you're good enough, you're old enough.'' Matt Busby.

Tough decision for MA regarding the goalkeeper, whoever he choses It won't be a wrong or right decision. Mark Childs has been excellent - very talented and will certainly have a good future, It wouldn't surprise me if he starts tomorrow...
However in my opinion I think Stack will/should play.
A big factor in us beating Crewe & Swindon was the experience of our side, on both occasions (correct me if I'm wrong) as a squad we had more football league appearances than the opposition.. it wouldn't surprise me if its the same with Brentford tomorrow.

He's been labelled as captain in a YouTube video. If he is cuptied then I've no bloody idea!! Think Duggy would be a good shout to be honest, if not Constable? Been at the club a few years now and always passionate, but maybe a little too passionate sometimes!! in MA we trust!!

Barnet went out of FA Cup in first round 3-0 to Shrewsbury and neither Hoyte or Togwell were involved. What about the loan lads from Wolves lad (Garret was cup tied playing for Doncaster) - could Wolves make him available - the ad loocked top notch at Boreham Wood.

I would want to have Jai Reason captaining the side tomorrow. Continuity counts and he is at his best when taking responsibility. At his best it's hard to look past him as a genuine all round competitor with a lot of skill to go with it.

Re the keeper I haven't seen any confirmation of Graham Stack actually signing. Even if he has I would stay with Mark Childs for now. Can't see why not and it could be a vital step in his learning curve.

Togwell captained the side at Boreham Wood with Reason also in the team, so I am pretty sure you will not get your Jai skipper wish.

I'm not normally one of these "enjoy the day out whether we win, lose or draw" fans but will definitely enjoy the occasion tomorrow.
On paper we should probably get smashed, we are in the middle of the table, 3 leagues below, not in any form really and have about 10 players missing for various reasons.
BUT when you've got 1500 fans going crazy, the fact that we have some big game players, have performed well in our 5 Cup games v League sides in the last year and a bit & the Martin Allen/Brentford factor then maybe just maybe we might have a chance.
Will be a cracking day out, can't wait for it.
