3501
Weather will be v. important. Cold and wet - less than 3k, nice dry/warm evening nearer 4k.
Its interesting to note how the free game gates have risen over the years.
1st one was in about 2006(?) - 958 v Thurrock 1st Bridle one - around 1200? - Hayes and Yeading (?) Truro - 1325 I think Then for FGR we got around 1750? Dartford - 1765 Last one was FGR - 2884
I might have missed one out there. Anyway the general trend is fairly obvious.
I believe that two records could potentially go tomorrow night:
Highest ever midweek gate (currently 2884) Highest ever league gate (currently 4,126)

I remember the first FREE game EFC ran, a cold Tuesday 11 December 2007 (just looked it up on Jamie Montigue's site) v Thurrock. 958 people came along to witness a 0-0 draw, and I remember it was bitterly cold. Now we're looking at 3500+? for tomorrow's game. Another indication of how far we have come as a club.
OK, I'll guess 3721.
Rendel put his post on while I was composing mine, beat me to it about the Thurrock game.

Whist we (ok me) are on the subject of stats its interesting to note that tomorrow will be out 50th consecutive league gate of 1,000+. Prior to that (Aug 2014) I would think we'd only had around 20 1,000+ league gates in our history.
Certainly would expect to see a decent away contingent tomorrow night as well (300+?) and I guess the ground will look even fuller as it is segregated.
Should be quite a night under the lights!

Really looking forward to this one, especially with the offer for blaggers & tight arses. Full house, under the lights, what could possibly go wrong?

Very close to our record ever league gate but that matters not one bit. Could well see that going later on this season.
I missed out one record stat above which we smashed tonight:
Our highest EVER midweek gate (previously about 3300 for the play off semi against Grimsby).

A truly fantastic gate, and what a brilliant atmosphere.

Does anyone know how far off a home end sell out we were? And what away fan allocation there is?

And the crappy thing is most of that lot won't bother when it comes to handing some money over next time.

Away was 199. They might not all bother bomber but if 50 of them do and become regulars or get season tickets then its worth it.

Isn't our record gate 5025 v Bolton?
Maidstone's seating area must be about 300? Half the standing area next to it reserved for away fans was empty - for segregation reasons? Must be another 3-400.
So I'd guess it could be 1000 max for away?
I think we may be under 5000 capacity with the building works. I won't comment on the official crowd figures but the announced 4114 surprised me....

As I said mate, 'most'. I'm sure you're right, and the free game is a great idea, especially when they watch a 3-0. 👍

The whole side was home fans in the East Terrace. There was no standing last night for away fans. There were 188 season ticket holders not in attendance but they count towards the total as they have already got a ticket and cannot be re sold. Our capacity is 5192 - there was a few lost for segregation against bolton as there was last night. The building works haven't affected capacity. We could have had just over 4500 home fans but i think we had 3915 albeit 188 of those were season ticket holders who did not turn up but are counted in the attendance. Although the East stand wasn't full at the end we were standing deep in areas and in the corners which made up for this i think
