2,047 was the 3rd highest gate of the day in the National League, only Maidstone v York (2495) and Wrexham v Dover (5603) got higher.

Pretty decent gate I thought.
Obviously the very nice weather helped but equally being in summer wouldn't have helped. I know of a few regulars that were with family, in the park, at other events etc etc.
Without meaning to sound BBB Guiseley are not the most attractive opposition to bring in the casual home fans like a Wrexham, Aldershot, Tranmere etc etc.
Lets hope we can get a good number of 2K+ gates this season. Last season we averaged 2,014 and had 8 gates over 2000.

Tell you what does my nut in. Coming into work & listening to armchair supporters waffling on about league football non stop. ZZZzzzzz. Yet on Saturday they could get in for free off the back of a s/t holder & didn't bother going. Proper winds me up.
