No your right, I hadn't thought about the added games during the following 4 seasons to get to 100. Maybe the top 8 in The National at end of season 18/19 with no relegation from League two that year?

Sutton will do well next season, I see them being top 10 at least with a chance of being play off contenders. Top 10! That would be an amazing season

sufc, do you know what would happen if you or Maidstone finish in the playoff places next season - given you have a 3G/4G pitch? Would you be allowed to compete?
(I realise you might think it unlikely but its certainly possible)

I don't think us or Maidstone would ever go back to grass. I think we are just going to enjoy next season and hope we stay clear of the danger zone and leave promotion dreams to you

While I'm here two quick questions. What level of support do away teams bring and how many times did you need to segregate?

We segregated every game last season except 1 I think. But that was a mistake. Should have done the lot. I personally didn't want any segregation as it was one of the things I enjoyed about the Connie South. How nieve I was.

Hi. Stones fan here. From what I understand, we will be allowed to take part in the playoffs if we qualify, but we had to sign an undertaking to replace the 3G with grass should we achieve promotion before the Football League accept 3G. We're staying part time so I should think the chances of reaching the playoffs are slim, and the chances of winning them are even slimmer. While you want to win every game I think realistically we will be looking at consolidation this year with hopefully a decent cup run to keep it interesting. The feeling around the club is that by the time we are in a position to challenge for promotion 3G will have been adopted in leagues 1 and 2.

Cheers Dave, makes sense. About what I thought.
I think if you or Sutton did win the playoffs or were champions(!) then you would fight changing your pitch back to grass to play in the football league & reckon there would be a good chance you'd win.
But from your clubs and the leagues point of view very much a case of we will cross this bridge when we come to it.
