This whole thread just makes me laugh.
You wanted promotion.
You wanted more fans.
You wanted more fans to travel to away games.
You wanted more passion.
You wanted more success.
Yet you don't want to accept that all of the above will come with an element of things that you no longer like about football at the higher levels.
You only want buddist monks to join the fan base and attend away games?
You only want people to come to games with a flask of coffee and a blanket to put over their knees to attend away games.
You want people just to go home quiet immediately after the final whistle.
Laughable.
Not one person has asked if these "Eastleigh fans" were just defending themselves?
Not one person has considered that we get trouble at Woking EVERY YEAR.
Then you act all surprised and upset when someone stands their ground because they wont be bullied by the Woking mob?
You are the kind of people who will instantly condemn & try to out the Eastleigh few who stood their ground.
You will instantly cry that its not want you want.
You will instantly come on here saying you do not want this kind of thread on our forum, but you will start the thread anyway!
You are not the kind of fans that i would call a fellow fan.
You are not a fan i would stand beside.
You are not Eastleigh FC fans, your are people on a comfortable day out with your flask of coffee, who doesn't want to get wet or cold or get shouted at by opposition fans during a game.
If you have kids with you fair enough, but if you are a grown man, you should be ashamed of yourselves for not helping your own fans who may have been in trouble against Woking unfriendly fan base.
You turn your nose up if you even have to walk on the same pavement of these "hooligan" fans on the way out of a game, making a "Swift exit"?.
You don't want to sing or show the opposition that you are passionate about your team. But you want everyone else to sing on your behalf.
No thanks, that fact that you are trying to condemn these Eastleigh hero's who stood their ground before even asking them what went on, tells me more about you lot, than it does about the Hero's. I know which group of supporters i would rather stand beside.
Edit: Rendel, you have mentioned a couple of times now about Woking asking for a pre-match get together on Social media, but i never saw that, have you made that up?
