Fantastic! 200 new supporters is such an achievement. I hope some have joined due to the generosity of Stewart Donald for the two free games which were both absolute crackers! Can we exceed 1200 this year then as we had just over 1000 last year? COYS

The 700 figure looks good, and no doubt is ahead of the same point in time last season.
However, playing devil's advocate, if we have 200 new applications that means only half of the existing season ticket holders have renewed with just 3 days to go to get them at earlybird prices.
Here's hoping for a last minute rush of renewals over the next few days.

And as we've seen this season a ST is very handy when a big cup tie comes along for tickets. Got mine way back in January.

I would suggest that setting the Early Bird dead line day to be BEFORE this season has even ended, is a strange decision/concept? I am a ST holder, and to be totally honest, i'm fed up with football at this stage of the season and i like to go off for the summer and forget all about it for a month or two...Therefore, i feel that having to already be thinking of committing for next year at this point in time, is something i don't really want to be doing. I'm sure i'll get one, but do i really need to be forced into getting it by tomorrow? Not saying everyone feels the same as me, but i suspect that's why only half the current ST holders, are yet to have purchased for next season. It wasn't all done this early last year, so whats the rush?

Things change easily in life and son may just decide he does not want to go any more now that is getting older, or might just get a Saturday job between now and season start. A long time between now and August.

I guess the club had hoped to be contending for a play off spot so set an early deadline. With that bubble burst I can't imagine the phone will be ringing like mad tomorrow. 700 have renewed, not sure that wil hit a 1,000 again so easily after the early bird prices have gone.

Never thought I'd say this but I think the club could go down the route of 'supporter points' scheme to go with their ST/ membership points for going to away games etc might enthuse people to keep going to the same places season upon season, just a thought, we went to Bolton one week 600 fans following week 50 at Kidderminster or whatever it was, I realise money and work and life gets in the way but it might just add a bit of fun to things.
I don't think there will ever come a time when we need 'priority' fans etc to get a ticket, if I remember rightly anyone could get a Stourbridge ticket if they could and we just about sold that allocation, same obviously with Crewe and Bolton.
On a side note not sure why there are lots of people now wanting travel to Woking and us not having arranged it prior? Seems a bit strange on both sides but great an additional minibus is going.
As for renewing ST / new ST holders early bird date being too early , I think it is aswell however if we had been certs for the play offs then obviously the crest of a wave feeling continues and he numbers would be slightly higher, still unsure why people would rush to get the early bird pricing when all they are doing is putting less money towards the club.
As for the new ST numbers those are great and I genuinely believe this is in part to the fantastic community work we are now taking on on match days and during the weeks etc and will only grow with the continuation of that I believe even if things on the pitch don't continue to progress season after season.

I would guess that the idea of early-bird pricing is to tempt people to get their season tickets at a time when they might not otherwise commit. That's always been my understanding of how early-bird pricing works from a marketing point of view.
The full post early-bird pricing is still an absolute steal for a National League club anyway.
There's always a chance the club might decide to extend the deadline if they haven't already done so. I bought mine weeks ago.
