Thanks Stewart for that info.
It looks like the perfect first step.
Re the West Ham dishwashers there's got to be a headline in there somewhere. I'm not sure if I'd buy anything used from David Sullivan.

Thanks SD. Looks great.
Look forward to seeing your further plans.
One issue that will obviously be raised is the dreaded matter of car parking. The new building will eat into existing car park spaces. We have a real problem at EFC in regard to the lack of convenient public transport to/from the ground and there is a danger that this could become a serious limitation in future, especially when the Stoneham Park development goes ahead.

The new plans look great in my opinion. My first thoughts were how close is this to the current stand? And future planning would this fit in a new stand for the stadium rebuild? (Yeah I think big for our club!) I don't know the plans from the club so just something I've seen from the plans which I'm sure the board have thought of. Maybe the ground would move slightly or do a 90 degree turn to allow more space between the new clubhouse and a new stadium?
I for one would love to be involved in any way that I possibly can. The buzz around this club at the moment is fantastic and something to really grab hold of and cling to. Looking forward to watching this club and maybe being involved one day!
Well done to Stewart and the board, the plans really do look great. Would like to see them bigger if they are available anywhere online?

When the first discussions took place about a rebuild of the ground at one of the fans forum evenings there was a suggestion of going back to the original east-west format of the Ten Acres. Can't remember who raised it.

A Desso pitch, please, if it can fit into the budget.

We are spending more on the pitch than ever before and purchasing some major equipment that should see massive improvements. That work commences next week I believe.
Regarding the parking. Maple Manor are vacating the site in 4 months so we will regain around 100 spaces on a match day - we will lose 20 with the new clubhouse so an overall gain of 80 is a start. We are also putting in planning when the ground designs go for additional car parking. Whilst also negotiating on additional parking facilities close by.

We don't know how lucky we are to have a chairman with such ambition and passion for his club. His continuous generosity and drive to make Eastleigh FC a community club are unsurpassed and to top it all off he cheers his club on from the terraces, listens to what the fans would like and goes out of his way to welcome new supporters. Bravo Stewart!!!

Certainly welcome and very exciting, but when I came to the club in 2008 my expectations were very modest. I have never been more amazed than witnessing the effect of super turbocharged energy that SD has injected into EFC Spitfires. I can only stare in wondement and enjoy the ride!

I mentioned about the end of last year about a bus from the station, stopping en route at the Grantham arms, picking up stragglers along the way. Any news on this? After all it would free up a fair chunk of parking at the ground.

There is not enough demand for a bus company to run a regular service they reckon. So as with al these things at the moment if the club pay and subsidise it - or basically pay for it then we can progress it. At the moment we have not put that high on our agenda to pay for as other things are taking financial precedent but we will revisit when we have either more fans or more spare funds.

Looks great!
Wouldn't it be the obvious time to extend the shed end stand as well? #justsayin'
