All come across pretty tinpot, especially for this level. Fisher athletic (rip) did something similar a few years back - though that was actually manager for a night!
They are a club in crisis, very probably going.
Having said all that doubt it will be easy, just hope we can grab those 3 points.

It won't be easy? They are a club in free fall. Even if Alex Ferguson joined their management team for charity they are going to get tanked! They haven't won a game in 10. 4v0.

Which doesn't mean that they can't turn it around against us. I'm sure that CT & the team won't be as complacent as you appear to be, boyatthood.

Agree Martin, Last week I did a £20 Accumulator of 9 results and I got 8 correct....the one to let me down...Southport 3 Welling 3....Welling were 3-0 down with 14 minutes to play, they cost me winnings of £1351-32p instead I lost my £20!!!! Thanks Welling!! That result shows they have belief in themselves, they won't come and lay down that's for sure. As for this auction their doing next Friday, its disrespectful to their players surely when they are fighting to save the club from relegation.

Yes of course they'll turn up and give us a game, it would unprofessional of them not to. But really we should fully expect three points against this team and if they are ruthless enough in front of goal then it could be 4v0. Three points at this stage of the season is all that counts so another Bromley 'do the job' performance will be fine. But if it's anything like this game, I might sit in the bar for the second half!

I have looked at Welling's recent results and of their last 13 games I believe that their match with Southport which they drew was the only one in which they conceded more than two, and earlier this month Cheltenham had to score in the final minute of injury time to earn a point against them. Therefore I would not even mention the possibility of a 4-0.
The aim of the auction appears to give them a better chance of holding on to the players and sometimes when you are struggling to win games fresh input for one match might be worth the experiment. One point though is that the people most willing to pay the money might not be the people with the best understanding as to how football operates.

What wonderful support to the lads on the field when you're sitting in the bar enjoying a few beers

I think that if it was possible for boyatthood to go into the away changing room instead of the bar in the second half I also think that it is possible he could find his postings on here in there attached to the wall.

I would be happy with a 1-0 win over Welling. Its a competative league so I dont expect any easy games.

Ha! Really?! Do you think the Welling team would give a stuff about anything written on here! How about I post them in the home dressing room as well as I have great faith in my team winning well this weekend. I am really looking forward to Friday, shouting and supporting my team, having a beer and I predict we will win 4v0.

Nothing wrong with your confidence boyatthood, but we've only hit 4 twice this season, opening day at Southport 4-0 and at Guiseley 4-1, so yet to get that many at the lake this season. I don't think we'll get them and I predict a hard fought 2-0 win. Lets just keep ticking over points, one game at a time and see where we are with 4 to play. It's looking like it will be two from Dover, Braintree, Tranmere, Gateshead and ourselves. Incredibly Wrexham have to play all the top 6 in their final 8 games!! A big factor could also be the last day round of games, Dover v Forest Green, and Tranmere v Grimsby could make it a nail biting 90 minutes til it all ends around 7pm. If Grimsby win their games in hand and also beat Cheltenham they could snatch the title...what price the double!!
