Brilliant result and fully deserved second half. Thought Coulson had a great game down the flank and looks much more suited to this position than in the middle. Reason showed real class for his finish and Evans goal was great to see the whole team celebrate with at the end. I agree about the comment about Woking, a very average side who were there to be beaten. Sorry ussspitfie I just have one moan! Who puts the bloody nets up at this club! 10 minutes added time in the first half whilst the groundsman saunters across the pitch to sort it out. Then he gets a round of applause when he gets back to his seat in the grandstand afterwards! ?

Excellent game tonight. I was concerned after Reid was sent off but in the second half we totally outplayed them, could have been a lot more than 2-1. I think Green and Midson were excellent subs as well and just at the right time. Let's have more of the same now, we'll without the red card anyway...

A fighting and well deserved win. Class goal by Jai and brilliant header by Will at the end. Agree Coulson was MOM but all of the players put in a massive performance for Toddy. Lets put 8 past Chester on Saturday.

Boys worked really hard second half and the Woking 11 weren't good enough to pass it around and play 'keep ball' - we still looked in the game and they paid the price when they were reduced to 10 men too. Great game (for a neutral !) and great win for us !

Thought the refs/linesmen were meant to check the nets before the start of the game?
Always extra pleasure beating that lot - they were niggly all night (they wound up Reid successfully), wasted time wherever possible and it was fitting that the winner came in the fifth minute of injury time. Otherwise they weren't a bad side, not surprisingly lacking confidence after a bad run, but they sat back a bit after we went down to 10 men and they took the lead instead of going on to try and kill the game. I thought we were the better team and deserved the win - a win of character.

That would account for it :-)
Looking forward more now to the game against Chester on Sat after they scraped through 8-2 against Aldershot tonight.

That makes sense about their number 26. He set a nice example swearing in front of my son in the last few minutes.

We certainly held our own when we were a man down and played pretty well IMO.
Just when we looked like we were running out of gas will Evans pops up with the winner. Superb stuff. Been a little while since the last injury time winner at the silverlake!
the goal that keeps the dream alive

And their manager Garry Hill told us in the Main Stand that he had a bad cough (or something that sounded like that).

I agree Coulson looked great and thoroughly deserved man of the match - he was running all over the field and seemed able to play in any position. Where were you when we needed you Mark Blake? You'd have got that net fixed in no time ;-)

I also thought it was a very decent performance, all things considered. Although I agree Coulson as MOM I really think his move to the wide position highlighted how much more at home he is there than in the middle of the park. No one has mentioned Midson, but in ten minutes on the pitch he created two glorious chance for Beano. One with a fantastic head down and another running onto a long ball from the keeper and an inch perfect ball to the centre. As for Reid, then he could have no complaints, even if the CF stepped on his foot, our skipper swung a kick and connected with the back of the CF legs and in the clear line of vision of the assistant (as across the back line is exactly where they are concentrating for the offsides). The CF did not react and go down, so he certainly did not milk it, but it was just a petulant kick out that could have cost us. I still think if we get the discipline together and stop shooting ourselves in the foot we can be there or there abouts come the end of season. And just in case Mark is sat there enveloping his "Vote Donald" leaflets and thinking that on this side of the pond "everything ended up rosy on the night" can I confirm to him that some blighter from the park and ride scheme was in my parking spot yet again. or should that be .

I'm afraid I was sat at home listening in on the radio watching peppa pig with Isla. Jack Higdon phoned me from the shed to tell my to hurry up a fix it.
It's actually harder to listen to a game than be there when it ends like that my silent celebration would of look good. Strevs reaction in the radio to all the near misses was brilliant you felt he was almost kicking every boy with them.
Jai back in the middle pulling the strings. Please don't waste him out on the wing anymore.
