I may be wrong (& please tell me if I am) but have we ever beaten a team managed by Danny Cowley? About time we did! 0-1 to us will do with an OG, or a first from Tubbsy. COYS

From Braintree's forum this morning -
"The covers were put on the pitch Thursday and they have done their job keeping water off the pitch after all the rain we had overnight, but help is needed tomorrow morning at 9am to take the covers off to ensure our game with Eastleigh goes ahead."

Hopefully they wont take them off to soon suppose to be a mix of heavy rain and showers from 10 am.

I get what you mean Ian, but wouldn't you'd rather know asap about travelling up? Looks a doubt in my opinion given the forecast and their pitch.

Glad I had to call off going for a family do seeing as we're now going to get nothing from the game. This could be a critical defeat with a big gap to Braintree now.

Just 7 points out of 30 and now 5 defeats out of the last six games. The statistics speak for themselves, that is relegation form not promotion form. I think Tuesday's scrapped result against Cheltenham has kept Todd in a job. Since the turn of the new year results have been very poor. Never mind, on to the next one and hopefully a home win on the 'beech' against Woking.

Were you there boyathood? No? Didn't think so. No I didn't go so that must mean I can' t have an opinion?!. For what it's worth when I went on Tuesday I thought the team were on the point of turning their 'bad' performances. The defence were excellent. Today was always going to be a tough one. I actually think they can win all three of the next home games. They have the 'beech' as an advantage! I think we should get behind the team over the next three and see where we are. If they can't win these then forget the play offs. If they lose them then forget Todd as well!
