Believe it or not erc around 25% of people don't really know what the internet is. Computers are some complex thing for other people and the idea of using a tablet/smart phone to find out stuff is just so removed from their reality you might as well ask them to fly to mars.
I actually spoke to a guy a couple of works ago (work related) and asked for his email address and he started reading out his post code. LOL!
Anyway I'm not quite sure what these poor folks do for EFC info. ring up, look at TV or read the paper I guess
Or perhaps speak to any "clued up" EFC fan they might know.

I am sure that people managed adequately in the pre-internet days. IN my opinion it is not always easy to find the best place on the Internet to find certain information.

Should be an interesting game this evening. We ended up being unlucky not to win the away game but personally thought Cheltenham changed tactics after going one up and decided to defend their lead. When we equalised they tried to up their game again but couldn't get back into their stride. They looked dangerous in wide positions and they are a better team than what we saw that day.
No expectations this evening from us.

Yeah genuinely no pressure tonight, if we don't win v Cheltenham or Braintree and then become effectively out of the running for Play offs it won't be down to these two games, so just play with freedom and confidence COYS

NO pressure!!!!! If we win all 9 home games and pick up at least 4 points from the remaining 5 away, we'll be in the PO I reckon with 81+. We will relish our 5 away trips we'll find our best form in those venues so get the points at home....momentum will be key to going all the way in the PO..lets start tonight. Tubbs to score his first/second tonight, Go Matty.

Coulson in the middle tonight then. ?
Wind getting up, bit cold out now too.
I have a feeling that the way GJ has inspected the pitch a couple of times that it might get rolled out in a post match interview excuse should they lose.

1vo and the horrible run is finally over! In fairness a draw would have been a just result tonight as Cheltenham were all over us in the first half but the back four were magnificent tonight. It was discussed a week a go about dropping Evans and playing Reid. Reid and Turley were rock solid tonight and nullified everything thrown at them. Delighted for Todd to finally have a change in fortunes. Final word is about the pitch. What a joke it really is now. It looks like a beech and at times the bobbles with the ball were embarrassing. I appreciate a lot of volunteers work very hard to help get the pitch playable but it needs desperate investment as it affects the play and spectacle badly.

Great solid back four tonight. Slow to start again in the first half but we were all over them in the second. Their keepers were shocking!! Their manager was also taking the p*ss and spent more time on the pitch than their keeper! Good to see us on better form again.

Great battling performance tonight to answer some of the criticism - some interesting selections from Chris Todd, but they all seemed to work. Pitch not great, but the same for both sides.
I was disappointed with Cheltenham, we've definitely seen a few better teams at the Silverlake this season, but they'll probably get promoted.

It was more about the result tonight than the performance, that said, superb defensive display. Going forward our ball retention (except Tubbs) and distribution is shocking though. Solid without the ball tonight, must to better with it though.
Coulson played well in centre mid and Flitneys save was superb. (Let's blame the pitch for kicking)
In fairness, neither side looked like scoring. Cheltenham better team first half and a bit more 50/50 second half.
Beano and Tubbs together needs to stop as just does not work. Why are we playing the ball in the air to Tubbs? Looked better as Tubbs and Yemi.
Give Midson a go with Tubbs if need be over Beano. Beano and Tubbs play too far apart from each other it's unreal. Makes it for too easy for opposition to defend.
3pts were well and truly needed. Well done.

Decent if unspectacular performance in which the back four showed some cohesion that has been lacking recently. Couldn't have complained if we'd drawn as Cheltenham were the better team in the first half but delighted we took advantage of the fortuitous OG and held on for the 3 points. Pitch despite all the good effort in recent weeks is still looking like a 70's football beach party and any amount of rain is going to put it on the brink of a postponement again. Let's hope we can build on our first win since December and get something at Braintree on Saturday.

Firstly I don't get all this business about the pitch, looked not too bad, all things considered, certainly didn't stop some decent football being played tonight.
Massive credit too all those who have worked on it to make it the best it can be at the moment.

I think one or two are being a tad unfair on the quality of the performance. First half Cheltenham dominated but created zero with Eastleigh having no out ball but battling well defensivly. Second half was very different with the midfield pushed further forward and enjoying as much, if not more of, the ball as the visitors. This resulted in four very decent second half chances whilst Ross was only called on to make one quality save all game. All in all a very good showing after HT and in the end I would say a well deserved win overall.

As for the match. I'm not quite sure how we were leading at halftime. Cheltenham were on top for most of the first 45.
2nd half totally different, we more than held our own and could easily have added a second. Overall a good display defensively and a well earned 3 points.
Exactly what the doctor ordered going into a busy match where we still need to pick up a lot of points to remain in contention
