Skips will be arriving tommorrow morning, jobs to do: Break up dugout roofs and skip. Remove dugout rubble skip. Unbolt seats and leave adjacent to main stand, 13mm/1/2 socket or spanners required. All pitch side fencing to be removed and palced in skip.Liase with Brian Palmer as him and his crew are removing the good banners and alloy strips, the rest goes in the skip. The 6 ft chain link fence running from the turnstile adjacent to the shop towards the main entrance to be removed and placed in the skip. I will be arranging on monday for a grinder to be on site to cut all posts and fencing off a ground level. There are two wheel barrows, shovels and two sledge hammers in front of the main stand. The home changing room also requires painting, but will have to arrange access with me for that. Brian Palmer or Mick Geddes will be on site most mornings If anyone wishes to contact me 07973 744584
All this work can be carried out during the day or in the evenings.

Loads to do, people will be at the ground from 16:00 Thursday and Friday,if you can bring a spade rather than a shovel, a lot of rubble to be removed around the edge of the pitch in a narrow trench. Still some fencing to come out, old posts to be dug out. It would be great to have a massive effort on Saturday from 09:00.If you have a wheel barrow bring it along.

Having been only down helping for the last two nights I have been amazed at what a little work group has achieved, more hands always wanted. 90 percent of the fencing has gone and the railing almost completely gone including the dreaded 4 foot of it underground. Everything is pretty much at pitch level now and unrecognisable. Can't make this weekend but will pop down this evening. Keep it up chaps.

Working alongside Stewart today was quite magical to have an owner who cares a works so hard for this club is fantastic. Please people when we ask for help turn out in numbers because what some people do for are club you would not believe! It has been a massive effort this week so much done, thanks to all concerned. There i a huge amount of investment going into our club, the least we can do is turn out and provide the labour to make it happen. Stewarts drive and entusiasm is a great motivation if somewhat manic at times, he has been there everyday this week.I had hoped that we would have had a better turn out on Saturday, so please look out for info and respond in the best way you can.If anyone wants to go to the ground today from 10:30 there will be someone there to point you in the right direction. On that note im off on a weeks holiday .

Just to say I follow all the news on what all you guys and gals are doing, as you know my knees are mushy and need replacing so I can't come and help you all out. I should get my letter in the coming days for the first knee op so I can get ready for next season. Hope you enjoy your holiday Chris, sounds well deserved mate.

Just been having a think about this last night, as I understand we are considering as a possibility (I won't say aiming, perhaps that's too strong a word) a top 5 finish & play off spot next season. Without getting into the likelihood/unlikelihood of a top 5 spot I agree its a possibility (as will probably the vast majority of the conference clubs).
So to be able to complete in the playoffs we have just over 10 months to get our ground up to the grading for Football league entry!
Bejesus!!!
